Secrets Your Vet Won't Tell You

“What Your Vet Won’t Tell You”

Everybody has secrets, even your vet.  Here are some of the top secrets you’ll need to know to keep your pet safe and well throughout their lifetime.

Did you know that by feeding your pet store-bought, off the shelf food you are actually killing him or her slowly?  It’s true.  The ingredients in pet food from most pet food manufacturers could be poisoning your pet.

So what do you do about this?  How can you ensure your pet’s health?

Most pet owners don’t know about keeping their cherished pet healthy and well.  They figure that they have a pet, they go to the store and buy food, put it in the bowl, put down some water and that’s good enough.  But that isn’t the solution to good pet health.  No, manufactured pet food is dangerous to your pet’s health and if you continue to feed it to them you’re shortening their lifetime by years.  I for one am not willing to do that to my “friend.”

If your pet becomes lethargic, overweight or simply no longer has the energy it had when it was younger it could indicate a health problem.  The only way to determine what is going on is to take them to the vet and have an examination done.  Blood samples, physical examinations and even perhaps x-rays must be done in order to find the root cause of the problem.

No, it isn’t cheap but when you consider that you’re dealing with what could be a life threatening health situation it is worth the cost involved to ensure your pet’s health.  They depend on you to keep them healthy and vibrant throughout their life.  You own the pet and it is therefore your responsibility to take good care of it.

Pets can be cute and cuddly but unless you take care of them you’ll shorten their life dramatically.  It is worth every minute and every dollar to ensure long life for your pet.  You’d do it for your family member so why not for your pet?  They are “family” too.

Next time your pet seems a little down consider a trip to the vet.  They might not enjoy the trip but they’ll thank you later as they run, play and lick your face in the coming years.

Before you buy your next store-bought pet food be sure to read the ingredients.  You’ll be shocked at what is in it.  Then, do some research on natural pet food solutions.  It’s worth the time it takes to save the one you love and it is far less expensive than what you’re buying now.

Happy pets = happy families.  Be happy today. Go Fetch!

This is true, it probably goes for most people food also! It's all about money, make it cheaper and sell more no matter if it's harmful.

This article has good info. Thanks for sharing. Picking up a packet of pet food may seem the easy way to feed a pet but it isn't always the best way.
