Pain through adversity may sometimes be the reason why people become motivated to change. Getting failing grades make us realize that we need to study more. Overwhelming debt motivates us to look for a better source of income. Humiliation prompts us to speak up and fight for ourselves to save our face from future embarrassment. It may be a bitter experience, a family tragedy, a great movie, or an inspiring book that will help us get up and get just the right amount of motivation we need in order to improve ourselves. Study these self-improvement motivational tips from A to Z.

A - Achieve your dreams. Avoid negative people, things and places. Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”

B - Believe in yourself, in your abilities and in what you can achieve.

C – Consider things from every angle and aspect. Motivation comes from determination. To be able to understand life, you should feel reflect from several angles and sides.

D – Don’t give up or give in. Thomas Edison failed many times before he came up with his invention and perfected the incandescent light bulb. Make motivation your navigational device.

E – Enjoy every aspect of life. Work as if you don’t need money. Dance as if no one is watching. Love as if you never knew sadness. Learn as if you’ll live forever. Motivation takes place when people enjoy living in the present.

F – Family and friends are life’s greatest  treasures. They can motivate us on our path to achieving goals in unexpected ways.

G – Give of yourself, money, time and wisdom. You always have something to offer that can help another on their journey in this embodiment.

H – Hang on to your dreams. They may dangle in there for a moment, but these little stars will be your driving force.

I – Ignore those who try to destroy you. Don’t let other people get the best of you. Stay away from the kind of so-called friend who hates to hear about your success.

J – Just be yourself. The key to success is to be yourself. And the key to failure is to try to please everyone.

K – Keep trying no matter how hard life may seem. When a person is motivated, eventually he sees a harsh life finally clearing out, paving the way to self improvement.

L – Learn to love yourself. Raise your self-esteem by regarding your life and body as precious invaluable gems that may be in an uncut form but that does not change the value.

M – Make things happen. Motivation is when your dreams are changed into reality.

N – Never lie, cheat or steal. Always play a fair game.

O – Open your eyes.  See things as how you want things to be, and how they should be.

P – Practice makes perfect. Practice is about motivation. It lets us learn repertoire and ways on how can recover from our mistakes.

Q – Quitters never win. And winners never quit. So, choose your fate – are you quitter or a winner?

R – Ready yourself. Motivation is also about preparation. We must hear the little voice within us telling us to get started before others will get on their feet and try to push us around. Remember, it wasn’t raining when Noah built the ark.

S – Stop procrastinating. Get in the habit of doing your chores and tasks ahead of time. This may be difficult at first, but soon you will realize how exhilarating it is to have an uncluttered mind and harmonious living environment. You are free to express your creativity and accomplish more worthy goals.

T – Take control of your life. Discipline and self control goes well with motivation. Both are key factors in self improvement. Change from having bad habits to living a life with disciplined thoughts and actions.

U – Understand others. Try to notice how much you talk, even when it is unnecessary and especially when you should be listening. Strive to notice and understand others more. All of us can learn more if we pay attention.

V – Visualize it. Create your reality by seeing it in your mind’s eye. Draw to you a beautiful and harmonious life by routinely using the tool of visualization.

W – Want it more than anything. Want and believe in your ability to draw abundance into your life. Use motivation and self improvement to desire and become empowered.

X – X Factor is what differs you from others. When you are motivated, you tend to put more into your life. More  time for family, more help at work, more care for helping those animals and people in need.

Y – You are unique. No one in this world looks, acts, or talks like you. Value your life and existence, because you have this one unique embodiment and opportunity to be all that you can be. There will never be an energy or talent like yours. We are all given unique gifts in this lifetime that is unlike any other.

Z – Zero in on your dreams.   Focus on a life that is built on solid rock. Do not waver from your goals and dreams. This is just a stepping stone to unimaginable joy and peace as a final reward for a life well-lived.
