If you have a shower enclosure or a bath tub with a shower then there is one thing that you have to have in your bathroom than that would be a shower curtain. One thing about a shower curtain is that they take up a lot of space in the bathroom. This makes them one of the first things that people see when they walk into your bathroom. One of the most important reasons you need a shower curtain is so the water will stay in the shower or tub when you are taking a shower and not end up all over your floor. Another item that is part of installing a shower curtain is the shower curtain rings. One without the other will not do you much good. Unless you go with a hook less shower curtain which is not a bad idea either. You want to pick out a shower curtain that will go with the design of your bathroom. You can get a shower curtain with different designs on them. If you have two bathrooms you can get a one design for your bathroom and a different design for the kids bathroom.
After you have your shower curtain home after you have just purchased it and you are now ready to install it. The first thing you want to do is to lay it out on the floor. Depending on what you have your shower curtain will either be in one or two parts. The one part is one waterproof shower curtain. A two part where one part is a waterproof layer and a non waterproof layer and you can buy both parts separate if you like. If you have the two part then the holes will be in the top of both parts. Take the liner first and have the correct side facing the floor. Take the outer layer of the shower curtain and have the holes lining up at the top and the correct side face up.
You maybe asking yourself why we lay it out this way that is because from the outside the best side of the curtain for appearance purposes will be seen when you enter the bathroom and when you are inside the shower you will have the best side of the liner inside the shower for purposes of keeping the water in there. Place the shower curtain bottom inside the tub so that it will help keep the water in the tub.
