Very, very easy shrimp stir fry recipe

1 clove garlic

1 red chili

1 piece ginger

coriander

groundnut oil

300 grams fresh shrimp uncooked

1 tsp flour - preferably cornflour

4-8 babycorn

2 tbsp soy sauce

Juice of 1 lemon

1 tsp honey

Handful peas (frozen)

250 grams noodles

Handful beansprouts

One of my favorite shrimp recipes, really easy to follow. Boil the noodles first. Preheat your wok on high heat and add the groundnut oil. Stirin the coriander, garlic, ginger, chili and shrimp. Fry for 1 minute. Add the flour and baby corn and stir fry for another minute. Add the soy sauce, lemon juice and the peas. Add the noodles to the stir fry and also add a ladle of the boiling water. Cook for another minute. Done.

There are many other delicious shrimp recipes that use variations on this particular one, but the good thing about stir frying is how quick it always is!

Shrimps and Avocado

2 avocados

Flour

250g cooked peeled shrimp

Olive oil

1 clove garlic

1 tsp paprika

Seafood sauce

Cut the 2 avocados in half and remove the stone. Peel the skin off. Cut the cress. Place a handful of flour into a bowl and drop the shrimp inside. Toss until coated. Add olive oil to a frying pan. Fry the garlic clove and add the flour dusted shrimp. Toss well. Count to ten and add salt, pepper and the paprika. Cook for 3 minutes until crisp. Place them inside the avocado halves and drizzle 3 or 4 spoonfuls of the seafood sauce on top. Done.

Another one of my favorite shrimp recipes has to be shrimp and sweetcorn chowder British style. Check it out!

1 leek

1 chicken stock cube

400 grams good quality potatoes

300 grams uncooked shrimp

250 ml cream

Olive oil

Streaky bacon (6 rashers)

250 grams sweetcorn

Croutons

Boil 1 litre of water and add the stock cube. To prepare your chowder put a pan on high heat with a drizzle of olive oil. Add the sliced bacon to the pan and cook until crispy. Remove and place on a separate dish. Leave the fat in the pan and add the leek and potatoes. Stir. Cook for 4 minutes. Add the sweetcorn and shrimp. Pour the chicken stock with the cream, salt and pepper. Stir, boil and simmer for a further 10 or 12 minutes. Use a blender and whiz the mix up until smooth but chunky. Serve with the croutons. Done.

Another one of my favorites is a good shrimp pasta recipe as, like these recipes, is estremely easy, quick to make and very tasty. I give you a tip: always buy your shrimp raw and cook it yourself with sea salt and a bay leaf. It makes a huge difference to all your shrimp recipes!
