In the Moselle-region will find several museums, focusing on various topics. There are museums where you can see the history of the Moselle-river and of course the famous Moselle wine, but you could also pay a visit to toy museums in Trier, Krov or Traben-Trarbach.

If you want to know everything about puppets and stoves, then the Puppen-und Ofenmuseum in Neef is worth a visit, while people who love cycling should look around in the Fahrrad Museum in Traben-Trarbach.

Attraction-, wildlife parks and more
For the more active tourist, there is plenty to do near Moselle-river.

In Ediger-Eller and Traben-Trarbach you can do in the Adventure Forest various outdoor activities, such as obstacle courses, mountain biking and Nordic walking.

In Cochem you can take the chairlift to the Pinner-Kreuz on 250 meters altitude and from there you can return to the center of Cochem via a trail.

Near the historic city of Cochem you can also visit wild animals in Wildlife and Freizeitpark Klotten. In this attraction park you can spend a wonderful day outdoors and enjoy looking at various animal and bird species such as raccoons, deer, wild boars, ostriches and pheasants. Kids will also enjoy the roller coaster, water slide and gondola.

In Cochem at the imperial castle (Reichsburg), visit the falconry, which is open from Good Friday until the end of October. During this timeframe they give a falconry demonstration four times a day and you can also take the course 'Falconer for one day'.

Near the Moselle, there are plenty of places that are worth a trip by car or train.

Bad Bertrich
