Silver Hoop Earrings

I almost bought a pair of silver hoop earrings today! Both gold and sterling silver hoop earrings have been a staple in my jewerly box for quite some time.

Simple silver hoop earrings have always made a statement to me. They say, I am strong, classy, independent, and I don't need a lot of bling and color to call attention to myself! Yikes, that sounds kind of full of it, doesn't it? I don't really mean it in a bad way.

These days, silver hoop earrings are just my thing. I used to always wear the gold hoops, but I slowly started wearing more and more silver jewlery, and it just seemed natural to switch my earrings to silver as well.

My earrings are the last thing I put on the morning, right before I leave the bathroom to go face the world. Sterling silver catches the light and makes a quiet, tasteful fashion statement without screaming ,"look at me"!

I like the look of silver hoop earrings... a lot! Somehow wearing them gives me confidence and that well dressed look and feeling. In fact, I feel naked without my earrings.

I used to sleep in the large silver hoop earrings. I don't know how in the world I did that. It drives me bonkers now to even take nap in even the small silver hoop earrings. Maybe when you are younger you run so fast so much of the time that you just pass out and you don't even feel it when something is jabbing the sides of your brains as you drift off to sleep.

I like the look of the hammered silver hoop earrings. They represent the classic hoop with just a little flair. Of course, the standard one-inch silver hoop earring with nothing but smooth, shiny silver is hard to beat. It goes with everything from jeans to evening wear and yes, it will even look good with pajamas.

I like to support local arts and crafts people who take the time and effort to make gold and silver jewellery. It makes me feel good to buy their goods, for one thing, it helps the local economy, but it also enables them to continue creating.

Like I said, I saw some silver hoop earrings today that I really liked, the price was right and they were just perfect for me. The sales lady was busy at the minute, so I wondered off to find my friend to see what she thought about them, and, dang, if I didn't get so involved in looking at other items that I forgot to go back.

It wasn't until a few hours after returning home that I realized that I had completely forgotten to go back for those gorgeous silver earrings, my personal find of the day, I was so disappointed.

You can be sure that the next time I find a perfect pair of silver hoop earrings, I won't put off buying the
