A single mom college grant can make paying for university a whole lot easier. These days with a terrible economy and record job losses around the world, it's challenging just to put food on the table. Very few single mothers are in the position to pay for college tuition while providing for her children. But, the government and other agencies understand the important of single mothers going to college. Hence, there is a significant investment by the government, colleges, and private institutions into providing a wide array of single mother college grants.

Now, as a single mother, you have a few choices where to pursue college grants. The government offers quite a few single mother grants. There are certainly government college grants that you can apply for to ensure that you get the aid and funding you need to start going back to school as a single mother.

There are also college grants for single mother offered by colleges themselves. Colleges understand that it's difficult for single mothers to come to school. Hence collages reward single mothers who are making the sacrifice to come to school with free college grant money. Practically every college offers some sort of partial tuition payment or some other similar grant for single mothers with children.

Now, besides grants, there are college scholarships to be had as well. Scholarships may be offered by the college itself, the government, or a private organization. Scholarships, unlike grants for single mothers, are not usually given out on the basis of financial need. Scholarships must be won by some achievement on your part. That specific achievement will vary from scholarship to scholarship and from institution to institution.

Now comes the big question. How to get a single mom college grant? The best way to start is to look on the internet. You need to know what scholarships are available before you can actually start to apply for them. Do a comprehensive search online and see what sorts of grants and scholarships specifically for women that you can spot. Also, don't be shy about looking at various single mother grant offers you see online. You may find that with most grants you look at, you won't qualify for. But there will be a few that you do. Apply for those. The more single mom college grants you apply for, the higher the chance you have at actually landing the funding that you are seeking.

thats his website. He only asks that you donate a small amoutn and that every little bit will help him reach his goal of going to a good university in the States.

If you can't donate, I suggest you should at least tell other people about it, he sound like a pretty legit guy. I donated! and if you think hes a scam you can meet him on msn or skype! it was cool, I donated to him just cause i thought he deserved it!
