By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

When is a sit and stand stroller a necessity? When you are parents of children of close ages, and they are both still to small to walk, or cannot keep up with adults.

Strollers are an obvious necessity when a child cannot walk, or are just learning to walk. Even after your toddler can comfortably walk around, they get tired easily. A stroller is still a good solution to take your child out and about. As your family grows, you may find yourself in a position of requiring two strollers: one for the "baby" and a second one for the toddler.

One solution is to have two strollers. This is great if there are two parents, or you have a friend to push the second stroller around. A single stroller would a good solution. If you had twins, you there are tandem stroller solutions. The problem with this is that they are design for children of the same size. You have children of different sizes. The answer to this situation is a stroller that can accommodate a baby and a toddler.

A Sit and Stand stroller was designed for this need. The unique design of Sit and Stand strollers allows one child to ride in the front, while another child can stand and ride or sit on the seat behind. These strollers combine a regular stroller with a step and a seat behind it. The older child can either stand on the step, or sit down on the seat.

What is the benefit of Sit and Stand strollers? The benefit for the younger child is the same benefit provided by any other stroller. Older children benefit from its unique design. Older children are beginning to exhibit their independence. They do not want to feel like a baby, even though they still need many of the same things. This style of stroller allows your older child to ride without feeling like a baby. The fact that the child can stand helps alleviate the boredom that the child could experience by being "trapped" in a traditional stroller. Also, it is easy to get in and out of the step seat, so a child can quickly transition between walking and riding.

Even though it may not seem like it, Sit and Stand strollers are lighter and easier to control than regular strollers, Also you have the added security that you can more easily keep an eye on the second child when they are in the stroller. You will be able to watch after both of the children at the same time.
