Sleep Sheets: Bye Bye Sleeplessness

By Edited Nov 13, 2013 1 1

Sleep Sheets (the brand famous for Energy Sheets) are really growing amazingly fast in popularity now that Serena Williams, the famous tennis player, has endorsed the all-natural sleep aid that slips on your tongue.

Of course, this product isn’t really the cure for insomnia, in fact it’s for those who suffer from mild sleeplessness, but it can sure help when you are feeling restless and need to get some sleep fast and naturally.

We all know that sleeplessness does take a tool on the body over time. In fact, not getting enough sleep can wreak havoc on your body.

What’s the Downside of Not Getting Enough Sleep?

We all know that you need to be well rested in order to be the most productive. In fact, most researchers suggest most of us need at least 8 hours of sleep a day, but instead many of us skimp on sleep, because we have to pack so much in a day, from family commitments to work related pressures. But there is a huge price for not going to bed when you should.

Below are the symptoms of not getting enough sleep:

  • Lack of Productivity: For obvious reasons the less sleep you get, the less effective you are during your waking hours. In fact, your lack of sleep could be dangerous to both you and other people. Consider how research is pointing to more accidents contributing to a people being too tired to drive. Not only that, we have a tendency to make more mistakes when not getting enough sleep.
  • Inability to Fight Disease:  You may not realize this, but the body goes through a repair of sorts, sometime between the hours of midnight and 3 am. In fact, your body isn’t able to really take advantage of this repair when you are awake and doing things that go against a restful body state. Lack of sleep, can also contribute to weight gain as well as being more susceptible to colds and flus.
  • Depression: The Sleep Foundation has done intensive research on the links between depression and lack of sleep. And it seems to be a catch 22 proposition. Not getting enough sleep can contribute to depression and often depression can cause or worsen insomnia. And even more compelling research shows that depression is more susceptible in those with sleep related disorders like insomnia.

So is Sleep Sheets for sleeping really effective?

The answer is yes, they help. But you should be reminded that these natural sleep aids won't cure insomina.

These tiny colorful square sleeping sheets fit at the tip of your tongue and contain all natural ingredients. The active ingredients in this product are:

Melatonin: The hormone that regulates the sleep cycle.

I-Theanine: An amino acid found in green tea. This compound promotes relaxation and a feeling of well being.

Goji Berry Extract: This small berry, red in color, hails from China. And it makes the body feel good, by helping to eliminate anxiety, which in term promotes a better night sleep.

Chamomile Extract: The natural herb is often used to make some of the better natural sleep aid teas. It acts similarly to Gogi Berry and I-Theanine by promoting a feeling of wellness and a relaxed state. Eliminating anxiety is one of the basic things that helps promote better and consistent sleep.

The great thing about sleep sheets is that they dissolve on the tongue almost instantly. They can be used anyway even while travelling, especially on a plane. Sleep sheets for travel is a great idea especially when catching that red eye, the last flight out, where you need the sleep to get up the next day.

This natural sleep aid is also sugar free. And as you know this is a good thing, because sugar has an effect on the body which is counterproductive to sleep.

No wonder sleep sheets is really starting to catch on.

Once again, I learned something new on IB. I didn't know something like this even existed. Sleepless nights are not good. Hopefully these will help those who need them.
