Available in a wide selection of sizes and functionality, small refrigerators make the perfect companion to almost any living situation. There are apartments with small kitchens and require small refrigerators to serve typical refrigeration needs to the resident as well as units that are solely used for convenient entertainment situations.

College is a special place where standard refrigeration needs are not necessary since most students are too busy studying or partying to worry about groceries. But a mini refrigerator to keep cold drinks or small snacks is a convenience that many students enjoy.

It is common for homes that entertain guest on a regular basis to have a designated area or room for gathering people. In such scenarios, it can be very nice to have a small beverage refrigerator especially if it is a game room or bar where casual congregations occur naturally without planning.

Students do not have the luxury of sound mind to eat real nutritious meals in between parties so there is little need for refrigeration. But every so often there will be leftover pizza and such which would be a waste to throw out when hunger is a matter of hours away.

In addition to eating on the go, most students live their lives on the go from one residence to another sometimes in a matter of months. A small refrigerator makes sense because it is easily portable at 4.4 or even 8 cubic feet. Almost any typical sized economy car could transport a small refrigerator so moving isn't so much work.

Small compact refrigerators are very common in college campuses and it is one investment that offers major advantages in terms of convenience and function. Small refrigerators do a great job of helping to keep kids fueled for the next major exam or whatever college life demands.
