And if you need to hear some rants and raves from current customers, here are a couple customer reviews for you to further make a decision.

“These ski pants/snow pants are nice quality for what I paid (roughly $60). They are pretty much no-frills, basic pants. They repel the wetness of snow and have gaiters in the legs to keep the snow out of your boots. I like the cargo-style pocket also. This was a good buy for me since these pants do the job and didn't cost me too much.”  - Brian Healy

“I bought these as a backup for longer trips where my primary ski pants are goretex northface. I like the fit and feel of these alot so I ended up wearing them for daytrips this year. Conditions were pretty mellow this year so didn't really need the goretex. Great ski pants for the price.” – JjinNM

And here are a couple great reviews for these snow pants that may help you to decide whether or not these snow pants are not for you.

“My son asked for new ski pants that were bright blue...... guess the bright colors are in style now....i ordered the pants and had them shipped directly to my son at college. He said he loved them. I went to visit him and go skiing together and I thought the pants looked like they fit nicely. My son is thin, so it looked like they didn't fall off. The pants were a little long on him, but he folded them up and didn't care.....added to the funky look he was trying to achieve.... he is 5ft. 11" and wears a mens size small. It was very convenient to order through amazon and have pants shipped directly.” – Mom

“I haven't owned a pair of snowpants since I was a kid, so I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased these. Columbia is a solid brand that offers quality products at a reasonable price. These snowpants are exactly what you'd expect from Columbia, and maybe a little bit more.

The pants are sharp looking. I received numerous compliments on the sharpness of the design. The pinstripe pattern over the charcoal gray looks sharp.

The reason for only 3 stars is because I felt the size was a little small. I ordered a large which is supposed to fit 36-38" waists. I wear a 36 or 38 size pant (depending on jean manufacturer) and I never go over 38" for pants. With that said, I felt these snow pants were too tight, and very uncomfortable at the waist. If I didn't get such a good deal on them, I would've returned them.

If you're skinny and need snowpants, these are going to be awesome for you. I am fat and have no business being on ski-slopes anyways.”
– Daniel Caldwell

“Fit my 38" waist area well with a large. I am 6' tall and rather long legged so they appear a tad short, but once the boots are on, they do not look dorky short. The insulation seems adequate when worn with a light long underwear. They may be able to go over pants, but I do not think that was the design intent. The built- in gators are great.” – Charles M.

Conclusion

So if you’re in the market for a great pair of high quality snow pants for men, then Columbia snow pants might be the perfect fit for you. And the prices aren’t bad either. The best of luck to you in your search for the perfect snow pants!
