Some Daily Used Foods with Hidden High Sugar Content

Some food we think are good with less sugar are in realty are not good. This food with high sugar contents has more danger to the people who want to control their diabetes. According to the American Diabetes Association (ADA), what you eat is a key factor in keeping glucose levels in check and managing diabetes.Here are some foods which have a high sugar contents:

Ketchup (4 grams/serving) – This is very surprising that ketchup has 4 grams of sugar per

serving.When we all eat a hamburger with this tasty ketchup we never think that we are also eating sugar.So this may be another reason we should not eat very high calories hamburgers.

Spaghetti Sauce (22grams/cup) –Each cup of Spaghetti Sauce has 22 grams of sugar. We all knew that pasta is high in carbohydrates, but athis hidden sugar makes sauce unhealthy.

good substitute for sugar but when we see one tablespoon contains 17 grams of sugar. Then we should think how dangereorus this substitute is for us.

Microwavable Tomato Soup (18 grams/cup) – This is another surprise to find that one cup of soup contains 18 grams of sugar. Very interesting that soup has sugar.

Healthy Fruit on the Bottom Yogurt (40 gms/container) - Yogurt has been marketed as a healthy snack, however few think to check the label for sugar.Each 8 oz. container has about- 40 grams of sugar.

Healthy Raisins (29 grams/1/4 cup) - Lot of people recommend eating raisins for good health. When we see sugar content makes us think differently.Before eating those dried grapes check the lable.

hy Vanilla Soy Milk (11grams/serving) - Health food stores advertized this for a milk alternative, but the sugar content is something to we should pay attention. Each soy milk serving has 11 grams of sugar.

Light Cranberry Juice (33 grams/8 oz) - This healthy Cranberry Juice has more sugar than we think.This tart and tangy juice tastes have sugar content of 33 grams/8 oz.

Frozen Strawberries (70 grams/cup)-When we buy Frozen Strawberries only thing listed is strawberries. So watch how much sugar will go if we eat one cup.

Red Wine Vinaigrette Salad Dressing (4 grams/tablespoon)-Eating healthy vegetable becomes unhealthy with addition of Salad Dressing. Each single teasppon has about 4 grams of sugar.

Conclusion -Eating anything in moderation is good idea.

It is wrong how companies can put so much sugar in their products. we dont use sugar at all in anything except 500 grams in our home brew beer...well we are supposed to use 1kg. But like you say they get away with it because we dont know.

It's amazing the place that sugar hides. It's the reason we're so fat even if you don't eat much.
