As a matter of fact that the headphones may not be designed for PC use, I would say it is the earpiece's biggest flaw. Lnger cord would make the audio gear close to perfect given the price it is asking for. And I would rather wind the cord up when it is too long than having a short-cord earpiece.

Sony MDR-W08L Ultra Lightweight Vertical In-The-Ear Headphones are extremely value for money. I would say they are good for all people who use earphones for ordinary purposes.
