Sophie the Giraffe Teether is an exciting toy for your baby both visually and physically. Sophie is made to be chewed on. The ears, horns, legs, and body all are perfect for chewing and soothing sore gums. Also, the giraffe is made small and light so that it fits nicely in the small hands of your baby.
Visually, Sophie the Giraffe is fun to look at with black spots and a yellow body that holds your baby's attention because of the contrast. The horns and ears are pronounced to offer an interesting query for you baby.
Touching Sophie is very appealing for your baby because she is soft and has a long neck which makes her easy to grab. Her smell, which is a natural rubber smell, sets her apart from other toys and make her very identifiable.
Why This Teether Is So Great
"My 5 month old daughter LOVES her Sophie the Giraffe toy! This toy is absolutely wonderful in every way. Sophie is made of soft rubber and makes a pleasant-sounding squeak whenever any part of her body is squeezed, so even a young baby can elicit a reaction from the toy with minimal effort.
I don't know what it is about Sophie, but whenever my daughter plays with her, she gets very vocal and talkative.
I saw another review which referred to this toy as "a glorified dog toy". That reviewer is mistaken, and simply doesn't realize the value of this toy.
- Sophie's body, while soft, has several areas of thicker rubber (the nubs on her head, her ears, and her feet) which are perfect for teething babies to gnaw on for relief.
- Sophie's contrasting colors (spots) are visually stimulating to a baby.
- She is easy to grip given her long, thin neck.
- This toy is made of 100% natural rubber and uses food-grade paint (SAFE!).
- This is a quality baby toy which will last for many years.
I would much rather pay $20 for a safe, engaging toy for my baby, than pay $5 for some piece of junk with lead paint."

What I Think
My son has went through a lot of teethers and maybe it is just him, but the teethers he does best with are also interesting to him. That sounds weird, but if he is bored with the teether as a toy, he wont use it.
The great thing about Vulli Sophie the Giraffe Teether
Because his teeth came in so early, he had more earache's and illnesses because of the infections he was getting from sticking things in his mouth. When we got in Sophie, it was easier to control what he put into his mouth because he only wanted that toy.
He really like the way it looked because he would stare at it for 30 minutes. He tried to move it and I swear he was trying to move it.
Either way, Sophie the Giraffe Teether
