Sparkly Flip Flops Are The Perfect "Wear Anywhere" Sandal.
Who says flip flops can't be worn wherever you want?
With a pair of sparkly flip flops, you'll be able to wear your favorite kind of sandals anywhere you go! Now that flip flops are becoming more and more popular in nearly every situation, it's not uncommon to find them in nearly any social situation, from lounging around with friends on a lazy afternoon to even more "formal" occasions such as weddings, banquets, cocktail parties and even the workplace.
That's great news for anyone who likes their toes to feel free, and hates the confinement of traditional shoes.
(Later down this article I've listed my favorite pair of sparkly flip flops, so scroll down if you're in a hurry).
Flip Flops Aren't Just For Casual Attire Anymore
A few years ago I was at a friend's wedding and I nearly fell out of my chair when I saw her walk down the isle in a pair of white flip flops with flowers and rhinestones. Then I looked up at the entire wedding party and noticed that all the bridesmaids were wearing them too! I loved it, though I had never seen anything like that before. Now it seems like every third wedding I attend includes these comfortable sandals in the attire scheme - for both the bride and groom sides!
You've probably noticed that flip flops are popping up in nearly every social situation, from picnics to board meetings. I can't count how many toes I've seen in otherwise formal settings. For example, I recently met with a group of attorneys regarding a project I've been working on, and one of the women was wearing sparkly flip flops! How cool is that? And the best part was that none of us thought anything about it.
If you're a young person, you undoubtedly already know this. But for the older folks reading this, it may come as a surprise to know that these sandals are gradually making a name for themselves in even the most formal work environment. Hopefully you see this as a change for the better, and a chance to wear your own pair!
The Flip Flop Revolution
A few years ago, then President George W. Bush met with a college sports team and the entire nation gasped when they realized that nearly all the young ladies were wearing flip flops. "This is a formal occasion and those shoes are inappropriate," was the rallying cry of those who felt genuinely offended by the footwear choice. But as the years passed, a strange thing began happening: People became less and less flabbergasted in similar situations. Heck, at this rate I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the President himself holds cabinet meetings while he's wearing a comfortable pair of flip flops in the oval office!

Oh, and these are also available in a grey base color rather than black. So if black is a little too dark for the look you want, the lighter grey should lighten things up a little bit.
