Spend Less Time Writing Blog Posts

By | Nov 2, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

Learning how to blog is a fun and rewarding way to make money online. If you have a blog that is updated daily or multiple blogs it is easy to feel like it is going to take a lot of time. Here are three way to spend less time writing blog posts.

Do you spend a lot of time thinking about what you are going to say in the blog post? Some days you may be able to brain storm quickly. Think about the details of that exact moment. For example you may brainstorm best during specific times of the day. My personal best time of the day is early in the morning, after lunch, and late at night. Challenge yourself to capitalize on the times of the day it is easiest for you to think.

Quick Ideas

Keep a file that is simply for ideas. This could easily be a small notebook that fits into your day bag, or notes written and saved in a cell phone. You might not have enough time your hands to write a full blog post, but you should write the idea down. It is easy to pump out a hundred words on an idea. This can easy be built upon later and turned into a full blog post.

The sentences do not have to even be grammatically correct. It is a way to capture the idea for the blog post. That way you are never out of ideas that are complete and relevant to the blog topic.

Write Faster with Bullet Points

Challenge yourself to complete a single thought when writing. This could be by using bullet points. Write enough information to move to the next section of the blog post. For example if you are writing a series on how to do something, write the fantastic bullet points first. Then write enough information about that point, just complete the idea even if it is not a full blog post. Take a specific amount of time each day to complete the posts that have already been started.

Use these tips to learn how to blog and reach your blogging goals.
