Spiderman Costumes: Saving Halloween

Halloween is creeping up on us again and, as usual, you have left your costume buying until the very last minute. Your kids want Avatar costumes but the store has run out and you have no idea what to do. Well, your best solution is to fall back onto an always popular alternative and that is Spiderman. There are plenty of Spiderman costumes available and if your young one pulls a face because he doesn't want to be like everyone else then you can give him the option to wear the new Spiderman Venom costume.

The Spiderman Venom costume stands out as it is completely black except for the spider symbol emblazoned across the chest. This is one of the newer versions of Spiderman costumes which was featured in the last movie. In it, everyone's favorite hero, Peter Parker was taken over by an evil alien entity and thus Spiderman Venom was born. A more powerful version of the superhero but with absolutely no respect for anything good, basically completely lacking a conscience.

Spiderman costumes are available for all ages, from toddlers to adults, and can be the simple Spiderman costume we all know, or it can be beefed up a little with a muscled chest and some Spiderman costumes even come with built in lighting. We wouldn't want Spiderman getting lost in the dark, now would we? Never mind the fact that spiders are supposed to have excellent night vision and he is a superhero after all.

If your son still isn't all that happy with his choices then you will have run a little interference and distraction. Depending on his age, you can sit him down to watch the movies again which may inspire him to want to impersonate the superhero and thus be open to the idea of wearing Spiderman costumes. Or, another option would be to remind him that the Na'vi are aliens and they wouldn't receive the fame and adoration a superhero does.

Spiderman costumes are available at most retailers, both online and offline. All you need to do is take your child to try them on, to make certain he is feels comfortable in his costume and that he has plenty of room to breathe. The problem is that most Spiderman costumes feature a full face mask and if the fit is slightly off, breathing could be an issue.

Also remember that your child may get very hot, so make sure to have him wear one of the Spiderman costumes for a while before buying it to make sure he doesn't get uncomfortably hot in it. Overheating can lead to many problems and he could even end up passing out. It's always best to be safe rather than sorry, so make sure he feels comfortable in all of the Spiderman costumes he is considering.

Whether he decides on one of the classic Spiderman costumes or the newer Spiderman Venom, he will be one of the most popular superheroes of all time as Spiderman has been loved by millions across the world from his comic book appearance to his stint on the big screen.
