Full Review
The inexpensive cost of the Sportline Walking Advantage 330 Pedometer is outweighed by its awkwardness. This pedometer is compact and simple, which in theory would be beneficial for someone looking for only a step counting unit with no frills. The very large reset button, however, is located on the front of the pedometer where you have to grasp the unit to remove it from your clothing or tip it up to view the steps, making it too easy to unintentionally reset the step counter. The step counting mechanism on this pedometer seems to be very particular. The pedometer needed to be attached at exactly the top of the leg in alignment with the hip. If it was even slightly forward, it would not count any steps. When removing the pedometer to verify it was counting steps, I would inadvertently push the large reset button, prominently located on the front of the pedometer, erasing any steps the pedometer had counted. The only way to wear this pedometer is by attaching it to clothing and the numbers on the readout are upside down to the user, making it difficult to see the number of steps counted.
