Sprint Triathlon Training Made Easy
As Sprint holds a triathlon, it also makes sure its participants are well prepared. Thus, they also hold Sprint triathlon training.
If you have been doing joining triathlons in the past, you are expected to have been running or biking consistently. But if it is your first time, then you can check out their program. This is helpful for those who are just getting started – programs like Running from Scratch or Getting Started are very popular.
The Sprint triathlon training program runs for 13 weeks. But before you start this program, you need to be able to consistently sustain swimming for 20 minutes, biking for 30 minutes and running for 20 minutes.
The running and swimming part must be done two to three times a week, while biking can be one to two times a week. For beginners on consistent running, 15 to 25 minutes will do.
If you already know how to run consistently, you must focus on biking and swimming. Increasing in these events should not be more that ten per cent a week.
Once you reach your goal of 20 minutes swimming, which should be a non-stop forward crawl, 30 minutes of biking and 20 minutes of consistently running, you could say you are ready for the final 13 week training program. The Sprint triathlon training is for all ages.
Whether you are young man or woman wanting to test the limit of your ability and the edge of your discipline, or an old man or woman trying to push his or her physical limitation, it is not too late to undergo this training to be prepared for the main event.
Whether you have been doing it for two decades, ten years, 5 years or you just woke up yesterday as a beginner triathlon participant saying "I want to be a triathlete", you are still eligible to undergo this training program for 13 weeks. In this sport, it is simply never too late or too early to begin.
