By Edited Nov 17, 2013 0 0

When it comes to exercise machines, there are few things that can match the benefits of a stair climber. The whole point of exercising is to keep your body strong and healthy as well as to lose excess body weight. The machines you use to do this aren't all the same. Some of them will work better than others in terms of helping you achieve the goals that you have. This article will discuss some of the benefits of these stair climbers as well as give you some tips on what you can do to make the most out of your workouts.

One of the biggest benefits of a stair climber machine is that it can give you an intense workout. Walking up a flight of stairs for some people can be a difficult task to do without huffing and puffing too much afterward. Walking is something that is easy. So it would make sense to say that using a stair climber exercise equipment can give you a more intense workout than a regular treadmill. The point of any type of aerobic exercise is to get your heart rate up at a certain level for a certain amount of time. This is how your heart and the rest of your body can become stronger. If this is the point then it would make sense to do something that can put your heart rate up to the level you need it faster.

Using a stair climber can really help you burn that fat off of your body since it is such an intense machine to workout on. If you ever ran up and down a flight of stairs, then you will know that just a few of those can get most people panting like a dog. This is what a lot of athletes will do to train their endurance level. Not only are you running up a steep incline, because of the steps, you also have to make sure you keep your balance as well. This will cause your body to use more of its muscle to keep you from falling as well as help you get through the intense exercise. Stair climber machines aren't just for hardcore workouts though. They can be used as a warm up machine as well by lowering the intensity level.

So let's discuss some ways you can get the most out of your workouts. The first thing you have to realize is that more is not always better. You want to workout and get fit but you also don't want to over do it. You want to be able to get the workout done in the most efficient way as possible. I'm going to assume that one of your goals is to lose some weight. So here's what you do. Before doing the workout, you will want to do about 5 minutes of stretching to loosen up your joints and muscles.

Afterward, you may want to start the stair climber at a slow pace for about 5-10 minutes. This will still be part of your warm up. After that, you will be going full force. The goal is to get your heart rate up to its optimal level and keep it there for about 30-45 minutes. Your optimal level will depend on a few things such as your age and weight. You can look that up online. For this to work, you will also need a heart rate monitor in order to know when you have reached your optimal level.

As you can see, you don't have to spend hours in the gym. You can be in and out in less than an hour. In fact, this is ideal. You will want to do your workout in the morning before eating breakfast. You can have a cup of coffee if you want as well. If you have a home stair climber, this can make it even more convenient. After you're done working out, wait an hour before eating. By doing this, you will let your body burn your excess fat more efficiently. From there, the only thing to do is to eat a healthy diet and be consistent with your workout. Within a few months, you should see amazing results. Make sure you consult your doctor before you start any exercise regimen.
