The Star Griddle is a popular choice for food-service operations. they come in both Gas (LP and Natural) and Electric. They come in widths from 15" to 72 ", and a variety of control types.

Star 615MD Griddle

This is a counter-top griddle which is part of the Star-Max line. It is controlled manually, with a standing pilot, which is preferred by many experienced chefs, who like to have manual control of the heat. It has 3/4 thick polished steel plate, providing even heat distribution.
