Stay In Touch Longer With an External Laptop Battery

By | 1 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Back to nature, camping is a wonderful weekend getaway for the whole family, but you have a job and responsibilities there. You take your laptop with you, but there is going to be nowhere to plug it in when the battery goes dead. A simple solution would be to take an external laptop battery with you.

These batteries only weigh about one pound each and if you are hiking in or backpacking, then extra weight can be an issue. With a Wi-Fi capable laptop and one or two of these batteries, you can stay in touch for the whole time without overloading yourself. Cell phones need towers for a signal, Wi-Fi is satellite driven so your odds of a signal is good no matter where you are.

Having an external laptop battery with you also gives you peace of mind. If there is an emergency and your cell phone has no signal, you can simply get online and contact help from almost anywhere. This is a great backup to carrying a GPS system or radio.

Taking the family out camping is a simple pleasure. Inevitably, there is the one child who really did not want to go. Away from their friends and stuck with their parents for the weekend, they are bored and restless. With an extra battery or two, they can get online and chat a bit and let them still feel connected to the outside world, bringing you some much needed peace.

Family trips need pictures, a digital chronicle of the great adventure that was the weekend. Most digital cameras and camcorders either need to be plugged in to recharge or to download when the memory is full. An external laptop battery takes care of this with ease.

They come with adapters to fit almost any electronic device and will charge them up with no problem. The versatility of these batteries in almost endless. Once you use one, you will wonder how you ever got along without one. Keep a spare handy because you just never know.
