Cucumber contains most of the vitamins that our body needs in a single day and are also very good for hair and skin. It fights heat in summer. It relieves heart burn and when applied on skin soothes sun-burn. These green, slender fruits contain minerals like potassium, magnesium, silicon and a lot of fiber which effectively regulate blood pressure. These minerals also rejuvenate skin, that's why many spa treatments include cucumbers. Rub slices on cucumber on itchy skin and the irritation will be gone. It aids weight loss and helps digestion. They are also known to protect against breast cancer, ovarian cancer, uterine cancer and prostrate cancer. Regular consumption of cucumber-juice cures diabetes. It contains sterols that helps reducing cholesterol. Presence of silica in this fruit promotes joint health. Its content is rich in vitamins A, B1, B6, C and D along with ingredients like folate, calcium, magnesium and potassium which relieve arthritis.

Cucumbers can be ate in salads or soups. They make nice dips for breads or other snacks. They can also be transformed into cool-looking, tasty beverages.

I am sharing a recipe of such a beverage that looks exotic and tastes delicious.

Ingredients Needed

Cucumber - one (medium sized)

Cucumber and mint

Mint leaves - 2-3 sprigs

Lemon juice - one teaspoon

Sugar or honey - two teaspoons

Black salt - a pinch

Chat masala - a pinch

Water - as required

How To Prepare Cucumber and Mint Crush

Cucumber and mint crush is an easy to make recipe.

Take a medium sized cucumber and chop it. Take the sprigs of mint leaves and pluck the leaves from the stems. Now, put the cucumber pieces and mint leaves in a blending jar. Add sugar, a pinch of black salt, lemon juice and a little water. Blend the mixture. Pour it in a glass and sprinkle some chat masala over it. Garnish with mint leaves. This beverage contains most of the tastes of a taste palate. It is sweet, it is salty and it is sour.

I never knew that cucumbers are 95% water and I never heard of Cucumber and Mint Crush. They are so beneficial that people should probably eat some daily. This is one of the most informative articles that I have ever read. Keep up the great work!

I love cucumbers pickled or with salt on them as a snack. Never thought about trying it as a refreshing nutritious drink! Will definitely give it a try! Thanks for providing.
