After purchasing a new steam cleaning device for my kitchen floors and being impressed with the power, I decided it was time to find a great steam cleaning device for my furniture and other harder to clean fabrics for the rest of my home.

There are many general purpose steam cleaning machines on the market so I felt I really had to do my homework before it was time to purchase one of these handy devices. Having your furniture cleaned as well as other fabric covered delicates in your home can be a very expensive endeavor if you have a professional company do the job for you. Keeping your furniture as clean as possible will help extend the life and beauty for a very long time.

After much deliberation with myself I decided on the SteamFast SF-407 1500-Watt Fabric Steamer. What I liked the most about this product was its reputation for quick operation and larger water reservoir capacity which enables the user to steam clean their items continuously for up to 45 minutes at a time without having to refill it.

The wait time for the SteamFast SF-407 1500-Watt Fabric Steamer to generate enough steam to start cleaning is amongst the shortest I have ever seen as well; it only takes about 45 seconds from the time you plug the machine in. Another great attribute of this steam cleaner has to be its versatility.

You can not only refresh your furniture and drapes, but also take wrinkles out of your clothing when you are in too much of a hurry to wait for a conventional iron. The unit is light weight and can easily store away in almost any closet of my home. The SteamFast SF-407 1500-Watt Fabric Steamer also has a built in drain plug at the bottom of the water reservoir to enable you to get rid of excess amounts of water when you are done with your project. Draining out the water after uses is very important as moisture can quickly turn into mildew in most cases.

In Closing

As of yet, I have not had any issues with the machine. The SteamFast SF-407 1500-Watt Fabric Steamer works like a charm every time I use it so I have no complaints whatsoever. This particular steam cleaner comes backed with a two year manufacturer's warranty and
