Stokke Xplory Newborn Stroller is the top of the market. If you are after a budget stroller then this is not the stroller for you, as it is over the $1000 mark. If you want a high quality stroller and don't care what it costs to save your back and get a strong and reliable stroller, then I suggest you read on and take a look at what the Stokke Xplory Newborn Stroller has to offer.

Stokke Xplory Newborn Stroller Review

Stokke Xplory Style

This stroller really is ultra chic but it is more than that, it has been ergonomically designed, it is higher than normal strollers( although height is adjustable) and lifts the baby to you, this is great for your back. The fact the seating area is higher means you can interact with your baby easier. This would definitely be a winning factor with taller people as my poor husband would agree with as he hates me getting a new stroller only to find it is really low for him. The height also means it can be used as a high chair whilst out and about, so this stroller is very adaptable too.

Adjusting seat height is easily done and it can be done whilst the child is in the stroller. There is a lever underneath that is pushed to adjust height, simple!

The larger carry cot piece is used from birth to an approximate weight of 20lbs, roughly a baby 6 months old. You then swap the carry cot for the forward/rear facing seat that is attached to the stroller in the picture above, which can be placed in 5 different positions. The older seat is usable up to 3-4 years of age. Seeing as most children are walking everywhere by the time they are 3 that is more than enough to see you through the stroller years of your child's life.

The Stokke Xplory comes in the purple shown above but also available in Beige, Blue, Dark Navy, and Red, so plenty of choice and all in very classy stylish shades.

Movement

From a comment left by a customer who has already purchased this Stroller, it is an extremely smooth ride and easy to push. She wrote " It is a super-smooth ride. It feels like pushing air even when my son weighed 30 lbs! It turns on a dime, it fits into narrow aisles, and it has hidden shock absorbers so both the baby and the person wheeling hardly feel the bumps". You can't really ask for more than a great looking ride for your baby that is easy to steer and comfy for them to sit in.

Storage

There are pockets in the carry cot part of the stroller when the baby is newborn, then there is a great matching bag that sits on the footstep of the stroller. Attached to the handlebars is a discreet cup holder, so many little hidden storage places.

Cleaning

All fabric is removable from the Xplory and can go in the washing machine. The covers go back on with ease and look brand new afterwards. Good thinking from the manufacturers as children do get things in a state with mucky hands and feet.

Extras

Included in the purchase of the Stokke Xplory you will get the seat and bassinet carry cot, a mosquito net and two rain covers.

You can purchase a diaper bag, a foot muff for the older seat and a parasol. All of these are added extras but can be found on the same page on Amazon as the Stokke Xplory Newborn Stroller.
