Although the advances in the dermatology world and beauty industry have being significant and definitely a step forward in the right direction, we still haven’t been able to found the coveted fountain of youth and eternal beauty; however, the many researches carried out have contributed to a better understanding of the aging process and the best ways to stop it, or at least to combat it – everyday we are discovering more longevity secrets and using them to our advantage, we are living longer than 50 years ago and this tendency will continue in the future.
In a recent report released by members of the MacArthur Research Network on an Anti Aging Society estimates that “women would live to be 89 to 94 on average instead of the government’s estimate of 83 to 85 years. For men, the group expects they will live to be 83 to 86 instead of the government’s projection of 80 years average life expectancy in 2050”.
