You want to eat healthily, but aren't sure what to eat. Here are many healthy suggestions for each meal. Remember organic is best, buy organic whenever you can. 

 

Breakfast  

 

Fruit SaladEat fruit for breakfast, citric fruit is best, or melon, or fruit as a fruit salad. Balance it with healthy fat such as avocado or raw nuts to slow down the release of sugar so that you don't have an energy high and crash. The best nuts are pine nuts, almonds, walnuts, but not peanuts. Or you can drink water with apple cider vinegar, or honey and water.

 

  

Drinks

Glass of Water (15632)Drink a lot of water at frequent intervals through the day. Add lemon or mint. Or drink organic herbal tea with mint, lemon or orange. Don't drink sodas, they reduce the calcium from the body and definitely don't drink anything with artificial sweeteners in it. All artificial sweeteners are worse than ordinary sugar, even the more recent ones that they are saying is better than sugar, in reality, they are not.

 

 Lunch

The best thing you can eat for lunch is a salad, or a salad sandwich made with whole wheat bread. Don't eat processed meat that is purchased pre sliced and pre-packaged. The best choice to give you the most energy through the day is to eat a raw salad with an apple cider vinegar dressing or balsamic vinegar and olive oil, then with a little fruit on the side.

Salad

Throughout the day if you need to snack, then snack on apples, cheese (e.g. Camembert, Brie, Gouda), honey, raisins or figs. Dipping apples in honey is a healthy snack. Don't forget carrots and celery too.

Dinner

Roast ChickenBake your chicken, don't grill it and don't cook it in a frying pan. Stir frying in a wok is healthy, though. Buy organic chicken, beef or fish. Eat your chicken with potato or sweet potato, butter and a salad with vinaigrette dressing. Lamb is one of the healthiest meats, it's just hard to find in US supermarkets. It's easier to find in Middle Eastern stores.

 

 
 

Supper

Try not to have supper, but if you really must then a good idea for supper is strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, celery, cucumbers or figs. Try not to eat toast at supper time.
