Full Review

The Sunkist juicer is the best citrus juicer for anyone interested in doing lots and lots of citrus juicing. It is a heavy duty machine that is built to sustain any amount of juicing you need to do.

The Sunkist juicer is an electric citrus juicer that will spin a reamer to extract the juice from citrus fruits, such as oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes, tangerines and so on. It consists of a reamer attached to a motor, which is located above some container or reservoir for the juice to collect into. They way it works is you take a half of a citrus fruit, push down on the reamer and it will automatically spin and extract the juice out.

The Sunkist commercial citrus juicer stands out from the rest because it is a commercial juicer made to handle a lot of abuse. The 1/4 horsepower motor inside spins at an extremely fast rate of 1750 RPM to quickly and efficiently extract citrus juice. There are 3 different sized reamers included, so you can juice citrus fruits of all shapes and sizes. It is easy to pump out gallons of juice within an hour with this citrus juicer. Fortunately, it is also easy to clean, as the removable parts are dishwasher safe.

The Sunkist juicer is a stainless steel juicer with a chrome finish to prevent stains and rust, as well as pleasing to look at. The head of the juicer is built with a durable, corrosion proof plastic. All together, this unit weighs a massive 31 pounds! Though much heavier than many people would want, the weight will ensure that it will never accidentally slide off the counter and break. If you buy this juicer, you should plan to leave it out at all times.

The area where this commercial citrus juicer shines is volume. The Sunkist juicer is probably overkill for the average person who wants a glass of orange juice every now and then. For those that need to make a large volume of juice on a daily basis, such as anyone running a business, this is a very versatile juicer. Another point that would deter the average consumer is the price. Sunkist juicers cost about $600! Not very ideal for most people. However, people that are running a business for example, would find the price to be worth it.

In Closing

There are other fancy citrus presses that cost a lot as well, but will take longer to juice your fruits and require more effort on your part. There are also cheaper electric citrus juicers available, which is better for the average consumer, but operate slower and are not as good as extracting juice. If you need speed, volume and durability, the Sunkist commercial citrus juicer is best juicer for you.
