Chi Vitalizer Cy-106

Multi Purpose Health Care and Replenishment System

These machines were introduced in the early 1990's and operate on the principals of Eastern Medicine.

The Chi Machines were used by licensed massage therapists on anyone who had a condition that was not being helped by traditional sources. They were created specifically to boost the blood and lymph flows with side effects such as sleeping better at night and having more energy during the day as your body becomes healthier.

Personally, I have owned the Chi Vitalizer Cy-106 since 2002. I was very skeptical as these units carry a fairly steep price and did do a test run of three different types. Feeling the benefit outweighed the cost, I settled on the middle of the line unit.

I suffer from fibromyalgia, degenerative disc disease, arthritis, and neuralgia and this unit has absolutely helped me with this.

Please note that this is personal observation and research and in no means is a claim to cure any malady or disease.

There are different names for these massage units such as Sun Harmony, Foot Shaker, Foot Swinger, Chi Energizer, and Chi Vitalizer, to name a few and all claim the benefits noted below.

People who report benefit included problems with neck and shoulder pain, tired and sore muscles, poor digestion and constipation, arthritis, back pain and bone spurs, nervousness, general pain and insomnia, poor functioning of internal organs, asthma and tracheal inflammation, menstrual pain, anemia, and chronic conditions such as fibromyalgia.

Daily modern health hazards such as chemical cocktails made up of chemical residues in processed foods, farm products, water supplies, the air we breath, poor or improper diet, work or study stress, and sedentary life styles all contribute to poor health or tired stressful states.

Flinders University Clinical Trails report these Chi Massagers will help eliminate toxins and provide the essential benefits of sports and fitness programs without putting stress on parts of the body such as the vertebrae joints or the heart and lungs.

They will eliminate toxins and increase blood and lymph flows without depleting body energy levels or causing injury.

If you are looking for a way to detox your body while you relax, the Chi Machine may be just what you are looking for.  As you lie back on the floor your feet will swing gently back and forth as if you were a fish in motion.

This undulating, wavy movement will provide you with a detoxifying, low impact aerobic workout and you can read a book, watch TV, talk on the phone, or meditate. This is excellent for disabled or overweight individuals or who suffer problems with their feet.  It is also good for people who are too sick to exercise in traditional ways.

It is recommended that one use the Chi Vitalizer Cy-106 for 15 minutes twice a day.  You are left with a wonderful tingling feeling that one feels after a good long walk, a Yoga session, or workout at the gym. It is sometimes described as a "Runner's High". I must say this is quite amazing and is caused by the intake of oxygen with increased circulation to the brain and all major organs. It opens up the breath and increases the blood flow to and from the lungs which helps increase the production of blood as well.

Other benefits include:

  • increased energy
  • fewer colds and illnesses
  • stronger and more limber spine and joints
  • reduced stress and anxiety
  • improved organ function
  • fewer headaches
  • improved regularity.

The spine, being the central pivot in the human body and considered the most important element of the skeletal system is kept in good working order.

Metabolism is increased and fat is reduced as using this machine for 5 minutes is as beneficial as walking for 30 minutes.

Cardiovascular disease is decreased as the arteries within the body are massaged with the effect of reduced or normal blood pressure.

The immune system is increased with improved circulation which means a greater ability to fight off infection and repair damaged cells.

An overall physical tune-up is achieved as the swinging motion will stretch and realign your back while providing passive exercise for weight control and cholesterol reduction.

Plaque that forms inside the lining of your intestinal tract will break free with the agitation and once passed through your bowels, you will have less constipation, digest your food better and get more nutrition from your meals.

Upon further research I came across a claim from a lady who stated that she has lymph-edema in both legs and had been told the Chi would help stimulate the lymph system. These are her words: "I use it twice a day - sometimes 3 times for no more than 20 minutes each time. I worked up to that from the 3 minutes each time the product recommended when you begin. It helps keep the swelling down in my feet. I have noticed shapelier legs and bottom. If you do not lay completely straight out on front of the Chi I have noticed it gives me a backache or side ache. I have a very firm mattress so I put it at the bottom of my bed when in use then set it under when I am finished. I will keep using it and only time will tell the net result."

Finally, the most recognized benefit of the Chi Machine is that it helps restore life and health to unhealthy organs.  Ancient Eastern Traditions maintain our bodies contain a life-force called "chi" (CEE) which moves through our bodies to promote health and wellness.  When chi is blocked, illness and disease may result.

The Chi Vitalizer Cy-106 keeps this life flow moving to promote the maximum flow of healthy and healing energy throughout the body.

This energy provides you not only with an increased feeling of overall health as well as an increase in energy!

Sullysee - Frankly the feeling one is left with is almost unbelievable...that that little machine that just swings your feet for 20 minutes could do make you feel soooo good and with such healthy benefits!

That being said, however, I have come to realize it is one of those things you either love it or hate it as I have loaned my Chi out to a few friends with medical problems and was just floored when they reported no real interest or others who "just had to have one".

Thank you so much for dropping in and reading my article. I appreciate it.

These Chi machines do sound interesting. As someone who has practiced yoga for 25 years, and had accupunture treatments, I know that Eastern medicine has a lot to offer us Westerners!

So true Deborah Diane. I find Eastern Medicine fascinating as well. Thank you for the comment.

Wow - I've never heard of such a thing. It's hard for me to imagine what this is really doing, but I'll have to scope it out and learn more.

aguy: Coincidently I found your articles a few days ago and invested time in reading and enjoying them! A lot. As well, just answered your comment in regards to my droopy little house.

Yes, it is hard to describe these CEE machines. But I have to say I would not have invested in such a thing if it did not do exactly what it claims to do. As Deborah Diane noted above, one has to have faith in Eastern Medicine and practice yoga, for instance, to realize the hidden truths of the Eastern medical ways. To be succinct these machines massages one internally (you can feel it) and pays upmost attention to your spine.

Some people love them and some don't....one friend told me my CEE (which I loaned her for a few weeks) "scared her" because she could feel her insides "moving" - lol...she said it did not hurt just "felt funny". Well, that is exactly what it does do - which is a good thing - our insides need to be exercised too. It is that "runner's high" that I find unreal - just like a good yoga workout or a good power walk. It sure will either wake you up in the morning or help you get to sleep at night. Thank you so much for reading my article and taking the time to comment. Peace today, Venetia
