Tan Knee High Boots to Wear with Dresses

By | Dec 10, 2011 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

The dress with knee-high boots a trend is one that lets you wear girly styles well into the cooler seasons.

Especially when you pair tall boots with tights or leggings, you can add quite a lot of warmth to an outfit that is otherwise light in coverage.

For example, the tan knee-high boots in the picture above when look great with a floral print dress.

These are Frye boots so they are far more expensive than your average pair of shoes, but they are also built to last.

The reason why they are more expensive is because they are made out of real leather.

When you buy others that are cheaper, you are likely buying a synthetic material that will not last as long.

This floral dress is a good example of one that would pair well with tan knee high boots.

It is very girly, and comes with a small belt for the waist.

This is a good feature to have because any time you draw attention in towards a tapered waist, you can make your frame look slimmer.

This dress is a just bit short.

The tan knee-high boots in the picture above would also look good with longer length dresses or skirts, but you tend to get away with showing a little more leg when the better part of your calves are covered up with boots.

Let's look at another combination of tall boots and girly dresses.

This floral print skirt is only $15 at the time of this writing (typically it is priced around $44).

It is short, feminine, and a bit frilly in nature, which tends to be the perfect thing to pair with a set of tan knee-high boots.

With this particular floral skirt, I think the boots below would go very well to complete the outfit.

These women's boots are made of a synthetic material, meaning that they are quite a lot cheaper than the option above.

I like this pair of boots because they are kind of minimalist; many styles have so many frills and gimmicks and buttons and straps… That they start to detract from the look of the outfit.

These are fairly basic in nature, except for the subtle gathering of the fabric of the shoe as it goes up the leg.

These would be very comfortable because they are flat; you can wear them all day long without your feet killing you.

Are you a frequent wearer of the knee-high boots with dresses trend?

Do you find that wearing boots that provide this kind of coverage allow you to wear more feminine styles without freezing throughout the winter season?
