Teen Pregnancy

By Edited May 14, 2015 0 1

The numbers for teenage pregnancy keep growing and growing. Having children is a huge responsibility that most pregnant teens are unaware of. Many of these teens do not fully understand the consequences of their actions. It is up to parents to make sure that their children are aware of the consequences of teenage pregnancy so that they can choose to make the right decision and be safe if they are sexually active. Many parents are in denial and think that their teens are not sexually active but either way you should talk to your teens about the consequences of unprotected sex. Not only do teens have to worry about unwanted pregnancy but also the risk of STDs. Make sure that you talk to your teenagers about the consequences of unprotected sex so that they fully understand what they are getting themselves into. Most teenagers do not make even close to enough money to raise a child if they make any at all.

Not to say that a child cannot grow up and have a good life with teenage parents but their lives could be much better with a planned pregnancy when everything is right. Most teenagers think that they are in love and that they have found their soul mates but most of them do not end up together in the long run. Children need to be able to grow up in a stable environment where they do not have to worry about not being able to eat or have the things that they need.

Let your teens know about all of the dangers of unprotected sex. Your teenager will do whatever they are going to do with or without your permission but as long as they are raised right and know what is right and wrong then they should make the right decision. If you give your teenager a good life and teach them the things that they need to be successful, then they will grow up to be great people.

If your teenager is pregnant or is with someone that is pregnant, it is not the end of the world. There are many government programs that can assist you in taking care of your child or finding a more stable home for your child. Do everything you can to make sure that this baby has a wonderful life. Talk to other families with pregnant teenagers or pregnant families to get support.

A good eye opener. This is a big social problem in asia. It is difficult to track unwanted cases. However, if people become more aware from these kind of articles, it will be great.
