Texting and Social Network Abbreviations: Part 3 (L - R)

By Edited Aug 9, 2015 2 2

A few years ago, very few people knew what a text or a social network was; today, almost everyone uses some type of social network to communicate.

With the creation of Titter and the limit to 140 characters, people were forced to get creative to say everything they wanted with the fewest possible words. With all the abbreviations, the world of social networking, however, can be a bit intimidating. For the novice, it’s difficult to keep up with this new language and know what people are saying.

The following lists will help you figure out a majority of text, twitter and social network messages.

Texting and Social Network Abbreviations: Part 1 (A – E)
Texting and Social Network Abbreviations: Part 2 (F – K)
Texting and Social Network Abbreviations: Part 3 (L – R)
Texting and Social Network Abbreviations: Part 4 (S - W)
Texting and Social Network Abbreviations: Part 5 (X – Z, Symbols, Numbers, and Online Gambling)

Please note, in the world of cyber communication things change fast, so there may be some new abbreviations not listed.
