There are pizza joints everywhere in the Gotham City.  There are as many favorites as there are people, but there are a few that get mentioned time after time when one asks about the best pizza in New York City.  Pizza can be a good way to fill up on a delicious meal and save some money for other things to do in New York City, there is just so much to choose from.  Using a voucher or internet deal can save even more, less money for dinner means more money for fun! While these may not top anyone’s list for the very best places to eat in New York, one cannot go wrong with a great New York pizza with its hot cheesy toppings and delicious crust. Among the best in New York are these:

1. Lombardi’s is one of the best pizza restaurants in NYC.  It is also the oldest licensed pizzeria in the US.  Their pies are still considered by many to be one of the very best anywhere and they are often mentioned as one of the top in NYC.

I've never been to New York but I hear their pizza is the best (something about their water).

There is nothing like a New York pizza. Once you've had the real thing nothing measures up. I've been to all but 4 of these great pie makers. So far, I think my favs are L&B and Lombardi's, but I like Mareilla too.
