In the 1930s, a
physician, Edward Bach, discovered the action of certain plants on the
regulation of emotions, which are the famous Bach flowers.
Lack of will, lack of confidence, spirit exhausted
after long trials. Every human being has its strengths and shortcomings in a
particular field of psychology, either constitutively or casual. While
traditional medicine can cure angina or arthritis, it has never really
addressed the ills of the intangible character, on the emotional imbalances
that hinder our development.
A
non-scientific discovery
Edward Bach was a brilliant British physician of
the early twentieth century, which focuses on land favoring certain diseases.
His studies of multiple cases of patients he used to define categories of
people according to their temperament typologies are emotional, and reaction
schemes. In summary, the emotional reaction of the same class of patients
against a pathogen induced in them the same symptoms. Dr. Bach believed that
each type emits a specific vibration field and that in nature there are plants
emitting the same frequency. It was by pure intuition, in contact with certain
plants, as Dr. Bach discovered the correspondence between certain plants and
the mood archetypal match. He calls them "the merry men of the plant
world."
The Bach
Flowers, plants "elected"
Dr. Bach distinguishes the herbs that are used in
traditional medicine, plants that treat a higher level and he calls the
"higher order plants. They are not to their chemical components that are selected,
but by their ability to resonate with the human emotion or thought. We are not
far from the vision of a world "A", as conceived by the Chinese,
which connects invisibly all expressions of life through subtle energy systems.
The discovery of Dr. Bach, however, goes even further, because it adds a highly
spiritual connotation to therapy. Edward Bach was first searched among the
non-toxic plants, not food, rather "humble" aspect. Chicory, Verbena
officinalis, wild oats, annual gravel ... but also oak, walnut, larch, holly,
the choice of thirty-eight plants remains a mystery to which we adhere or not.
But after all, it has still not shown how the infinitesimal homeopathic
dilutions act, which does not they are now commonly accepted.
The
preparation of flower essences
The plants are prepared by soaking the sun and the
decoction, in order to "boost".
Maceration: gathered under sunny skies in the
morning, they are covered with pure spring water in a container exposed to the
sun until they fade. Water is poured into saturated alcohol (brandy) to form
the mother tincture. This is the final preparation is commercially available in
small vials.
The decoction after picking, the plants are boiled for thirty minutes and filtered before being mixed with alcohol.
Can you use
self Bach Flower?
The flower remedies are freely available in some
pharmacies, shopping organic in some bookstores specializing in the esoteric,
so it is possible to obtain them without the approval of a therapist. The
diagnosis and prescription can be made by the patient himself if he has
extensively studied the process and workings of the therapy. It is rather
advisable to first consult a therapist who uses Bach Flowers. Some
psychologists associate with their therapy, as naturopaths. The diagnosis
follows a lengthy questionnaire that touches on emotions, self-testing cannot
be objective if the person is in a disturbed emotional state.
Rescue, the emergency medicine
However, we can make an exception for Rescue, 39th
elixir, which meets five floral quintessence. This remedy is used in elixir
(for emotional distress) or ointment (for physical injuries, blows, injuries)
and now plays the stars in the windows of pharmacies. Rescue occurs when a
situation occurs overwhelming, everything that undermines both our bodies and
our minds. Rescue has been proven so in recent years it has become part of the
elements of first aid required for the preparation of official aid kits.
The Bach Flowers are now part of the landscape of
alternative medicine. It remains to each of the test on himself to be convinced
of their effectiveness.
