THE FLAXSEED (LINSEED) OIL DIET: THE BENEFITS OF FLAX SEED OIL AND COTTAGE CHEESE

The increasingly popular "flaxseed oil and cottage cheese" diet was developed in Germany by Dr Johnna Budwig in the 1950s. Dr Budwig was a biochemist and expert on fats and oils. Her flaxseed oil and cottage cheese diet plan has been user for the prevention and treatment of strokes, stomach ulcers, arthritis, eczema, immune deficiences even cancer and tumors. There are good fats and bad fats. Raw flaxseed oil is a rich source of lipids or the good fats and omega 3 and 6 fatty acids. Dr Budwig's research indicates that cancer sufferers have low levels of Omega 3 and Omega 6. Raw, good quality flaxseed oil contains 56% omega 6 and 16% omega 3.

Dr Budwig mixed Organic Flaxseed oil with Organic Low Fat Cottage Cheese to treat cancer and other diseases. When flax see oil which contains these electron-rich unsaturated fats is combined with cottage cheese which is a high source of sulfur protein, the chemical reaction makes the oil become water soluble and so it is easily absorbed into the body's cell membranes.

Mix two tablespoons of cottage cheese to one tablespoon of flaxseed oil with a blender until you get a creamy texture that is well mixed together. Then consume the mixture straight away - eat it while it's fresh. Try it twice daily at first. Flaxseed oil (i.e. in liquid form) is better than flax oil pills or flaxseed oil capsules.

FLAXSEED OIL AND WEIGHT LOSS

The book, "Eat Fat, Lose Fat" by Dr Mary Enig and Sally Fallon, suggests that bad fats (corn, soybean) are to blame for our obesity crisis, but good fats (from coconut, butter) are essential for our overall wellbeing and for weight loss. By adding flax seed oil to your food - either as flaxseed oil or by sprinkling golden or brown whole flaxseed on your food, your stomach will feel full and satisfied for longer. So you will consume less calories in the long run. They argue that there is actually a fat defienciey in our modern diets - well, a saturated fats defienciey.
