The Best 10000 Watt Subwoofer For Your Car

By Edited Oct 22, 2015 1 0

Having a subwoofer that pumps out 1000 watts of power is more than enough bass to rattle your trunk; however, you should look into a 10000 watt subwoofer for your car if you want the whole neighbourhood to hear you! There is an absolutely massive collection of speakers to choose from when you are looking for one with 500-700 watts of RMS power; the selection is not nearly as big when you get into numbers as high as ten thousand watts!

With that being said, a 10000 watt subwoofer will cost you quite a bit of money, so it’s a good idea to do some research before you make a purchase.  This article is geared towards exposing the best possible subwoofers within the 10000 watt range.

The Rhino 15 Inch 10000 Watt Subwoofer-A Subwoofer That Is Over 100 Pounds...A Beast!

First off, any subwoofer that weighs over 100 pounds should automatically be deemed as being a beast...the fact that it has 10000 watts of power is simply icing on the cake. If you are looking for raw power, I would say that this Rhino speaker is the best 10000 watt subwoofer for your car.

Although the weight of the sub signifies a great amount of power, it also means that it will substantially weigh down your car. With that being said, I would not install this in a car that is geared towards performance, as more weight=less effective horsepower. This is a quad voice coil subwoofer, and each of the voice coils is 1 inch thick! Subwoofers with 4 voice coils can be bridged to multiply the power!

This speaker can be incorporated into nearly any car stereo, and will be gawked at by any car audio installers; however, the only challenge would be finding the appropriate amplifier that produces the right amount of power. Even once you have found the appropriate amplifier, you will need to upgrade the vehicle’s electrical components to cope with the subwoofer using up the car’s power!

MA Audio 15 Inch-Quad Voice Coil Subwoofer

15 inches is pretty much the smallest size that you can find a 10000 watt subwoofer in; MA Audio makes an amazing speaker that will literally blow your eardrums. The MA Audio subwoofer retails for about $350 and produces 5000 watts of RMS power.

Unfortunately, MA Audio car amplifiers are not the greatest, so you will probably have to pair this powerful subwoofer with an amplifier from another company such as Rockford Fosgate, Kenwood, or Pioneer.

The MA Audio woofer that is featured uses quad voice coils, and has an oversized magnet to help it pump out the 10000 watts of bass! The cone on this sub tends to move a lot, so I wouldn’t recommend placing anything near the box. Since this specific subwoofer is geared towards hitting the low frequency bass notes, I would recommend pairing it up with a ported box; this will ensure that the sound quality remains high.

Kicker Square DVC Sub-10000 Max Watts 5000 RMS Watts

Kicker is well known for the square subwoofers that they manufacture. Square subwoofers are known to produce a very clear sound because they evenly distribute the bass throughout the trunk of the car. This specific DVC sub contains 5000 watts of RMS power, and is literally the best 10000 watt subwoofer that you can buy.

The only downside to this square Kicker subwoofer is that it is 18 inches. The majority of subwoofer boxes are made for 10, 12, and 15 inch subs, so you will probably have to get a custom subwoofer enclosure made for it. With that being said, I would highly recommend pairing this subwoofer with a bandpass enclosure, as it would produce the best bass for the 18 inch woofer!

When you are looking for a 10000 watt subwoofer to install in your car, the Kicker square model is the one to look at if you have a large enough trunk to accommodate it. This would be the best subwoofer for an SUV or pickup truck, as they have a lot of room to accommodate the massive speaker and large subwoofer box!

These are all great choices when you are looking for a 10000 watt subwoofer for your car; they will all produce enough bass to rattle the screws in your trunk! However, there are a few things that you must keep in mind AFTER you have bought a speaker. You should always pair a powerful car subwoofer up with an amplifier that boasts roughly the same amount of power. In addition, I would highly recommend using a capacitor to stabilize the bass that the sub is producing; the last thing that you would want to happen is the alternator in your car failing because the subwoofer has sucked too much power from your car’s electrical system! Always remember to keep safety in mind when installing a car deck, amplifier, or subwoofer!
