The Best Hand Wheat Grinder Review
Are you ready for the next emergency? We are all counseled to keep a
supply of food in case of an emergency, and one of the main foods to
store is wheat. If you have wheat, you need a wheat grinder. And in
case of power failure, or you just can't afford an expensive electric
wheat grinder, you should have a hand wheat grinder. Let me tell about
a couple of these grinders.
Back to Basics Grain Mill
This
is a very economical what grinder and you can set it to grind your
wheat from course to very thin. This is a great grinder for grinding
course corn meal, and wheat for cereal. Once you make cornbread with
your own ground cornmeal , you will never go back to the store bought
again. This is perfect for things that don't need a large amount of
grain meal, and not something that you will want to use on a daily
basis. But for a back-up, in case of an emergency, this is a great hand wheat grinder.
- Cast stainless-steel cone-shaped burrs for grinding
- Self-aligning
- Grinds dry spices such as peppercorns
- Will grind dry gains such as barley, rice, wheat, corn, and oats
- Very quick and easy to use
Grizzly Cast Iron Corn / Grain Mill
This is not the better of the two hand wheat grinder choices, this one stands a bit too close to the surface, making it difficult to put a bowl underneath to catch the grain. It is not the one I would recommend for grinding flour.
If you want to get a great hand wheat grinder, I recommend the Back to Basics Grain Mill.
