The Best Places to Buy Silk Orchid Plants

By | Aug 11, 2010 | 0 Comments | Rating: 0

One of the first places that many people tend to look for their new décor is unfortunately at Wal Mart. Now do not get me wrong, I am not trying to put Wal Mart down I just think that for silk plants, especially orchid flowers, they tend to have a very low quality rating at this super store. When you are dressing up your home or office the last thing you want to do is to invest in something that is not cheap (as in price) and then get this look that looks really cheap. Well there are some places to check out to get a decent price and good quality at the same time.

The first place on the list may sound funny but they tend to really come through time and time again with thousands of products, the wonderful Costco. I have seen great silk orchid plants for sale at about $45-$80 and they really look real and true. The selection in colors and arrangements is top notch as well. The thing that I always find interesting about the selection is the fact that most of the plants they have in stock are not all the same. You do have a variety to choose from which causes the price fluctuation. The only downfall that Costco tends to have is the fact they do not always have them in stock. I have seen them on numerous occasions and tried to go back to get some and they are gone. You have to buy them whenever they have them in stock otherwise they will be gone.

The next place that may surprise you but and is sort of a seasonal place as well is the department store Kohls. Yes you may be thinking that they only sell clothes right, well to be honest with you they sell home décor stuff as well. They sell items from frames to vacuums to a simple organic buckwheat pillow. This place has had many different looks of silk plants that you can actually buy entire collection to spread throughout your house. Again the main downfall that this store has is that they do not carry silk orchid plants as normal inventory. They tend to be a season item for pre-Spring. Right after December and the winter months of January you should start to see them popping up in your local Kohls.

Hopefully this has helped you with your quest to find decent places to buy silk orchids or just silk plants in general. This item is one of those products that are hard to find exactly when you need them but hopefully these places will give you a direction to start looking.
