Super foods are foods which are highly nutritious and can provide a number of health benefits for you.  There are many super foods in which you should be eating everyday.  These are some super foods that will greatly benefit you and should be incorporated into your diet every day.

Goji Berries: These berries are considered a great super food because they are packed with over 18 amino acids.  Many people enjoy making chex mix with these berries and mixing them with nuts and sunflower seeds.

Avocado: Avocados is yet another super food that will surely keep you fit.  Although they contain a lot of calories, they are filled with healthy fat that will help you maintain the weight that you want.  Eating avocados in moderation is a good choice for weight loss.

Spinach: There are so many vitamins in spinach, that it contains half of the daily requirement of daily vitamins.  This is an amazing amount and contains proper fiber as well.

Acai: You have probably heard of the acai berry in many nutritious drinks and formulas.  Acai has many health benefits which makes it such a great super food.  It has calming effects, plays a positive role in ones immune system and slows down the aging process.  This fruit is originally from South America, but can be found in drinks all over the world. 

Broccoli: Not only is broccoli an awesome vegetable for weight loss, but it is helpful to prevent cancer as well.  There are many positive vitamins and enzymes in broccoli and it is great for your body when it is either raw or cooked.

Pomegranates: Buying fresh pomegranates from the store is a great choice as this fresh fruit has many antioxidants.  Pomegranates have very few calories in them so they make a great snack if you are hungry.

Quinoa: Many people do not know what quinoa is, but once they realize the taste and texture of it and how similar it is to rice they start using quinoa in replace of rice.  This is a super food that you should be using more often.

Apples: Apples are great whichever variety you choose.  If you are hungry, choosing an apple as a snack is a great choice.  Even eating an apple before a meal is an excellent idea because you won’t eat as much for your main meal. 

Blueberries: This is a great fruit for you to enjoy.  Blueberries taste great plain, dipped in yogurt, or with granola.

If you are looking to get in shape, join a diet or simply maintain your weight, you should be eating these types of food as often as you can.  You will drastically notice a change in energy as soon as you start consuming these foods on a regular basis.
