The Best Tips for Playing Lotteries

By Edited Jun 5, 2014 0 0

You can win the lottery without buying a ticket. Your chances of winning big are low, but if you don't buy a ticket, you have zero chance of winning. Before buying a lottery ticket there are tips that could help you win and keep you out of debt.

1. Know the odds of winning when playing lotteries before you decide to play. Keep in mind that, although buying more tickets slightly increases your odds of winning, you are better off buying one ticket, unless you use a proven wheeling system. There is no need to waste your hard-earned cash.

Besides that, it could not lead to a gambling addiction, which is not healthy nor is it good for your financial security.

2. You know how much you can afford to spend on entertainment, such as movies, and what not, so treat yourself with playing lotteries as one of those extra expenses. Don't spend more than what your entertainment budget allows for. Don't expect to win more than you put in the game, but if you do, be happy with those winnings. The point is to try to break even or stay a bit above until you hit it big. Remember you are playing to have fun.

3. Use either a reliable wheel system or a system that analyzes the past draws.

4. Regardless of what system you use, keep the following information in mind. If you look at the past draws, you will notice that a mix of both high and low numbers come up. Also a mix of odd and even numbers are draw. So you should never pick all odd, even, high, or low numbers. Another thing you will notice is that three numbers in a set rarely are drawn. A set is 1-9, 10-19, 20-29, etc. This means you should not pick three numbers that belong to the same set. An example combination you might play in a draw 6 game like Mega Millions is 2, 11, 24, 31, 45, 56.

5. Another thing to look out for are hot and cold numbers. Each number has an average amount of times it will be drawn for every 100 draws, for instance. Sometimes a number will be above or below that average. If it is below, the numbers is cold, and if it is above, the number is hot. The trick here is picking numbers that were cold and are now hot. The number should stay hot for the next few draws. It is best to use software to analyze these statistics.
