2013 is shaping up to be a pretty big year for video games. With the potential announcements of brand new consoles and a ton of big video game releases, 2013 could be one of the biggest years for video gaming in some time.
Here's the best video game releases for early 2013.
Grand Theft Auto V
Although an exact release date hasnt been announced, we do know that Grand Theft Auto V will release in the coming spring. Here's what we do know, there will be three main characters in the story, the open world returns but it will be on a much larger scale than ever before and the driving, shooting and combat mechanics have been completely rebuilt.
Rockstar North, the series creator will again develop Grand Theft Auto V to a level never before seen in video games. Grand Theft Auto V is already a game of the year candidate and will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360.

The gameplay mechanics are familiar to the previous Bioshock games and will still be first person with a few new features. Bioshock Infinite is set to release on March 26th for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
Dead Space 3
Dead Space has been one of the best survival horror games over the last few years and the scary adventure continues on February 5th with Dead Space 3. This time around, the hero Issac Clarke teams up with a hard-nosed soldier to save the human race from extinction from new horror's on the frozen planet of Tau Volantis.
The full campaign can be played via online co-op or via in game single player. The game features a brand new environment, new enemies and a brand new cover system. Dead Space 3 launches February 5th, 2013 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
The key game features include an upgradable nano suit, completely expanded multiplayer, a wide variety of new weapons and as always, extremely impressive graphics. Crysis 3 players can choose their own path on February 19th, 2013 on Xbox 360, PS3 or PC.
