If you know about the awesome Blue Eyes White Dragon, then you already know that it is one of the most sought after and recognized cards in the entire game. The card may not have any extra special abilities, but the Blue Eyes does start out with one of the best base attack powers available in the game. Is it any wonder that Kaiba wanted the cards so badly?
Speaking of Seto Kaiba, the card is known as his trademark since he played it as his primary monster. Being his strongest card, he would play it very frequently and use it to dominate duels. In the anime, only four of these cards were every created since they were believed to be over powered. Kaiba attained three, then had the fourth destroyed to solidify his position. The reason for destroying the fourth card was because no player can have more than three of a particular card in their deck and he didn't want anyone to play the card against him. This is how he controlled the three most powerful cards in the entire Yugioh Trading Cards game. It wouldn't be long before he would fuse the three together and create a multi headed Blue Eyes White Dragon.
Fortunately, the real Yugioh trading card game doesn't give quite the exact same power to the Blue Eyes. Through modifiers and cards with special abilities, players can still easily overcome the Yugioh Blue Eyes White Dragon, should it be played against them. This doesn't mean you should skip out on collecting or owning this card. Doing so could be very unwise.
In the real trading card game, the card can end up very close to, if not as powerful as it was portrayed in the anime. If played like a basic monster it can be very strong. It will offer opportunities to crush monster upon monster out of your opponent's deck. Toss in a few modifiers and you could create an overpowered monster that care hardly be touched.
If you are trying to fill in a few monster cards for your power deck or just starting out, it would be very difficult to go wrong with a couple of these cards in your hand.
