If you are looking for a writing desk, chances are that you are interested in something small enough to fit compactly into a room without taking up a lot of space. Writing desks are ideal for bedrooms, children's room, home studies and even living areas. Usually the top section of the desk is shaped in such a way, usually a triangular shape, that the back of the desk fits into the corner while the sides of the desk follow the angle of the wall. The triangular shaped top of the desk gives you plenty of room at the front of the table for writing, and there is usually enough room along the front of the desk for two or three drawers. Unless the desk is unusually wide, you do not have room for a hutch however.
