The Correct Way to Stretch Shoes with a Shoe Stretcher

By | 0 Comments | Rating: 0 | |

Not every person has the perfect foot that is going to fit into every shoe you try on perfectly. Everyone has different sizes of feet making it hard to find shoes that are going to be comfortable. Those who have wide feet can find it even more difficult to find shoes that fit properly.

The process for stretching shoes is not a complicated one. It can take a few days, but your persistence is going to pay off in the long run. The main tool that is needed is a shoe stretcher. Find one that fits your needs for shoe stretching.

Put the shoes on and get the exact location where the stretching needs to be done. Take into account all the areas that you would like to have more room for. This can include areas where you have corns that need to have room so that they are not painful.

Adjust the stretcher so it just fits in the interior of the shoe. If you have shoe stretching spray, now is the time to spray the shoes down. Those who need room for a corn can put in the plastic nub that is going to stretch just that specific area.

Turn the knob in the direction that makes it tighter in the shoe. Typically it is left to loosen and right to tighten. When you feel that it is getting harder to turn the knob once more and then leave the shoes alone for forty eight to thirty six hours.

If they shoe is still too tight, repeat the procedure until the shoes are custom fit to your foot. Do not try to stretch too much of the shoe too fast. Take your time and you are going to be rewarded with nearly custom fitting shoes.
