The Dark Magician Girl Card

You are probably one of the millions that watched the anime series, so you probably know of Yugi's Dark Magician Card. Some of you reading this article, may already have entire dueling decks centered around Dark Magicians or Black Chaos cards. If you have happen to have either, you probably want to be sure you have another specific card in your deck: The Dark Magician Girl.

This card from the Yugioh Trading Cards Game may very well be a perfect compliment to your magician based decks. The reason being that the Dark Magician Girl card doesn't only start with 2000 attack power, it can also increase it's attack power through a special ability. This special ability is to raise it's attack power by 300 for all the magician cards in both your and your opponent's graveyards.

Imagine dueling another player in a match where you both bring magician decks to the table. If you were to play this card after either of you, or both of you, have lost a few magician cards to the graveyard, then playing your Yugioh Dark Magician Girl can easily start her off with 3000 attack power or more and become very powerful on her own!

Even though this card might be rare, it will often be more than worth paying a little extra to put into your deck and add to your arsenal.

Obviously a stronger card, the Dark Magician is more power than the 'girl' version because it can also increase attack power for any and all dragon cards that have hit the graveyard as well. But, playing both cards can easily work out to be a great combination because they can each make each other considerably stronger. Having one card or the other will make you want to consider getting the other because they work so well together.

Stronger yet, are the Chaos Magician cards. Even though the these magicians have considerably higher attack power, losing them during a duel will just add 300 attack power to your Dark Magician Girl. Playing these magician cards first will often be a great way to open an attack while using your magician girl to come in at the end and clean up whatever is left over with her now comparable attack power. Then you can throw in your Dark Magician and have an even higher attack power!

Obviously there are many ways to play magician cards in combinations, and you should be more than willing to experiment and find a play style that works for you.
