This health state makes patients highly susceptible to different infections that may be acquired from neighboring patients inside the hospital. Next to providing good patient care, nursing assistants also need handle the personal hygiene of their patients. This type of responsibility involves bathing patients, oral hygiene, trimming their nails, shaving, and combing their hair.
