The City

This is an open plan city, like the more minor settlements, with no gates.

The City on Dibella's Watch
(1) Alchemical Heaven

This shop has two areas, Alchemical Heaven and Alchemist's Basement.

Carmera the Alchemist sells alchemical apparatus, ingredients and potions and buys alchemical apparatus, ingredients, potions and magic items with 2,000 Gold as well as training Alchemy to level 10.

The most notable items in the shop, all in Alchemical Heaven, are four Novice Alembics, three Novice Calcinators, two Novice Mortar & Pestles and three Novice Retorts and a Poison of Burden, a Poison of Fatigue, a Strong Poison of Illness, a Weak Poison of Illness, a Poison of Severing, a Potion of Detect Life, two Weak Potions of Restore Fatigue, three Strong Potions of Healing, a Potion of Insight, a Strong Potion of Fortune, two Potions of Charisma and a Potion of Absorption.

(2) The Written Word

Bookseller Meywin buys and sells books with 1,500 Gold.

The most notable items in the shop are two copies of the Marksman skill book Vernaccus and Bourlor and two copies of a valuable book, The Argonian Account, Book Four.

(3) The Count's Lance

Jeanne De Darcie sells food and alcohol and buys ingredients and potions with 450 Gold, as well as training Mercantile to level 50.

The most notable items in the inn are the valuable books The Snow Prince and two copies of The Argonian Account, Book 4, a Nirnroot and three bottles of Surilie Brothers Vintage 399, a bottle of which is needed for the quest Alcoholics Guild.

(4) Goods n' Trade

This shop is visited during the quest The Best Tavern Ever.

Shopkeeper Tiberius buys weapons, armour, clothing, lights, miscellaneous items and potions with 2,000 Gold and sells weapons, clothing, gems, armour, gems and silverware.

There are a lot of items in this shop, the most noteworthy of which are three Novice Alembics, five Novice Calcinators, three Novice Mortar & Pestles and two Novice Retorts, a Longsword of Sparks, two Petty Soul Gems and two Lesser Soul Gems, all empty, three Emeralds and four Rubies, a Jewelled Amulet, two Copper Amulets, three Gold Amulets and two Jade Amulets and the valuable books Azura and the Box, Mystery of Talara, v 5, The Argonian Account, Book Four and The Seed.

(7) Hornwald's House

This building consists of Hornwald's House, Private Quarters and Upstairs. Adventurer Hornwald is often found on the streets and starts the quest The Lost Explorer.

The noteworthy items in the house are a bottle of Surilie Brothers Vintage 399, which is needed for the quest Alcoholics Guild, the valuable books Feyfolken II, The Argonian Account, Book 2 and The Argonian Account, Bk 4, all in Hornwald's House, the Blunt skill book The Legendary Sancre Tor, a valuable book, The Wolf Queen, v 8, the rare book The Posting of the Hunt and a Nirnroot, all in the Private Quarters, and the valuable books The Argonian Account, Book 4 and Varieties of Daedra in Upstairs.

There are two areas to this, the Guard Archer Squadron Barracks and the Jail, where players will be taken if arrested, that contains an Evidence Chest.

In the barracks is the rare book Followers of the Gray Fox.

(14) The Howling Drinker

Worna Gro-Urgharr sells Ale and buys ingredients and potions with 120 Gold.

Vilians Renck can be found in here during the quest Wedding Bells.

(15) Dibella's Watch Cathedral

This is comprised of Dibella's Watch Cathedral, Cathedral Hall and Cathedral Underhall.

The main cathedral has an Altar of the Nine as well as individual Altars to each of the nine and in the Cathedral Hall are four copies of a valuable book, The Argonian Account, Book 2.

(16) The Crossed Swords

Grolgon Gro-Hurgargh buys weapons, armour, lights and miscellaneous items with 1,800 Gold and sells weapons, a Leather Shield and miscellaneous items. He also repairs items.

Notable items in the shop are a Weak Potion of Healing, the Heavy Armour skill book 2920, MidYear (v6) and the valuable book Tamrielic Lore.

(17) First Minister's House

This building is comprised of four areas, First Minister's House, First Minister's Basement, First Minister's Library and First Minister's Quarters.

Notable items in the house are three Novice Alembics, two Novice Calcinators, three Novice Mortar & Pestles and a Novice Retort, the Alchemy skill book A Game at Dinner and the valuable books The Firmament and The Argonian Account, Bk 4, a Flawless Diamond and a bottle of Tamika Vintage 399, one of which is needed for the quest Alcoholics Guild, a Grand Soul Gem (empty), a Greater Soul Gem (empty), two Common Soul Gems (empty) and four Greater Soul Gems (lesser soul) in the First Minister's House.

There are two Novice Alembics, three Novice Calcinators, three Novice Mortar & Pestles and two Novice Retorts in the First Minister's Library, the rare book Origin of the Mages Guild and the valuable books Dwemer History and Culture, On Oblivion, Argonian Account, Book 2 and three copies of Argonian Account, Book 4, a Weak Potion of Personality, a Weak Potion of Willpower, a Petty Soul Gem (empty) and a Lesser Soul Gem (empty)in the First Minister's Quarters.

(18) Fashion Statement

This shop is visited during the quest The Best Tavern Ever.

Selarus the Clothier buys and sells clothing with 2,000 Gold.

There are two Grand Soul Gems (petty souls) in the shop.

(19) Entrance to Dibella Sewers (4)

(20) Countess' Banner Barracks

The is composed of Countess' Banner Barracks and Countess' Banner Storage. The barracks are visited during the quest The Lost Daughter, and there are two copies of the valuable book The Argonian Account, Bk 4 in them. The door to the storage room is locked and needs the Countess' Banner Key, given as a reward for Dibella's Wrath, to open it. The player can then help themselves to the equipment, including the Countess' Officer's armour pieces.

(21) Zimon's House

The notable items in this house are the Marksman skill book Vernaccus and Bourlor and the rare book The Waters of Oblivion and the valuable books The Argonian Account, Bk 2, two copies of The Argonian Account, Book 4, two copies of The Wolf Queen, v 8, three copies of Varieties of Daedra, two copies of Tamrielic Lore, two copies of Provinces of Tamriel, two copies of Mystery of Talara, v 5 and three copies of On Oblivion as well as a Potion of Endurance and a Weak Potion of Luck.

(22) Dibella's Watch House

The door to this house is locked and requires the Dibella's Watch House Key to open. The key, and the house and contents, are given as a reward for The Maroon.

The house consists of Dibella's Watch House and Basement. The noteworthy items in it are a Novice Alembic and a Chest upstairs that requires the Dibella's Watch House Key to open and contains 2,500 Gold.

(23) The Magician's House

Woorna the Magician buys ingredients and magic items with 2,000 Gold, sells spells, recharges magic items and trains Destruction to level 10, usually from Alchemical Heaven (1)

Notable items in the box are the Mercantile skill book A Dance in Fire, v6, the valuable book The Argonian Account, Book 4 and a Nirnroot plant.

(24) The Widow's House

Notable items in this house are the rare book The Waters of Oblivion and the valuable books The Argonian Account, Book 4, two copies of The Wolf Queen, v 8, three copies of Varieties of Daedra, two copies of Tamrielic Lore, two copies of Provinces of Tamriel, two copies of Mystery of Talara, v 5 and three copies of On Oblivion.

(25) Wren Family House

Rovesa Wren, who lives here, must be seen for the quest The Best Tavern Ever.

Notable items are the valuable book The Argonian Account, Bk 4 and the Mercantile skill book A Dance in Fire, v6 and a Nirnroot plant.

The castle is comprised of nine different areas

Dibella's Watch Castle - Count Zerrva can be found here during working hours. The doors lead off to Guard Barracks and Castle Hallway. Notable items are an Apprentice Alembic and the valuable books Azura and the Box and Mystery of Talara, v 5.

Guard Barracks - The doors from here lead to Dibella's Watch Castle and Recreation Area.

Recreation Area - The only exit from this room goes to the Guard Barracks.

Castle Hallway - The areas that are accessible from here are Dibella's Watch Castle, Dining Hall, War Room, Castle Office, Private Quarters and West Tower.

Dining Hall - This leads back to the Castle Hallway.

War Room - Count Zerrva will move his daily schedule to here after The Attack on Shardville. The door leads to the Castle Hallway. Notable items in here are the Light Armour skill book The Refugees and the rare books Cleansing of the Fane and two copies of The Last King of the Ayleids.

Castle Office - The exit leads to the Castle Hallway. There is a copy of the Heavy Armour skill book How Orsinium Passed to Orcs and a bottle of Lazeera's Fine Wine, one of which is needed for the quest Alcoholics Guild, in here.

Private Quarters - The door leads back to the Castle Hallway. There is a bottle of Tamika Vintage 399, one bottle of which is needed for Alcoholics Guild.

West Tower - The door leads to the Castle Hallway.

The ship is comprised of Azura's Promise, the Mid-Deck and the Lower Deck. There is a copy of the rare book The Red Book of Riddles in Azura's Promise.
