The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Plugin Hoarfrost Castle Walkthrough Maps - Mountain Depths, Under-Chorrol Hollows, Under-Chorrol Descent, Betrayer Cave and Prison Breakthrough

Maps for quests in the TES IV: Oblivion plugin Hoarfrost Castle.

Clutter - Clutter is a general term for the various low value or worthless items that are found in containers.

The Glowing Tunnels - Mountain Depths

The Mountain Depths are explored during the quest Tithes and Tribulations.

There are 42 Wisp Stalks in the dungeon.

Glowing Tunnels Mountain Depths
(1) Pit - Fatal drop.

(2) Chest - This contains Gold and may contain a gem, an ingredient, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, a magic weapon, magic jewellery, a staff, soul gems and spell scrolls.

(3) Glowing Tunnels Cell Key - This opens the door at (4).

(4) A Rust Door - This has a Hard lock, but can also be opened by the key at (3).

(6) Ceiling Hole - There is a hole in the ceiling here, through which the Undermountain Minotaur will enter. Once killed, the Minotaur has a Minotaur Horn and a weapon and may have an item of loot.

Under-Chorrol Descent

The Under-Chorrol Descent is explored during the quest Scream Like a Symphony.

The entrance to the Under-Chorrol Descent is locked and requires a key obtained from Captain Palenix.

The dungeon contains 19 Cairn Bolete and 4 Wisp Stalks.

Under-Chorrol Descent
(1) Levelled Undead - An undead creature at or below the player's level will be selected from the following list: a Skeleton at levels 1 to 3, a Zombie at levels 4 and 5, a Ghost at levels 6 and 7, a Skeleton Guardian at levels 8 and 9, a Headless Zombie at 10, an Ancient Ghost at 11 , a Skeleton Hero amd levels 12 and 13, a Faded Wraith at levels 14 and 15, a Dread Zombie at 16, a Skeleton Champion at 17, a Wraith at 18, a Nether Lich at levels 19 to 22 and a Gloom Wraith at 23 and above.

(2) Ceiling Hole - The exit from the Under-Chorrol Hollows here leads to a room above the passage below. The passage can be entered by dropping down from the hole in the ceiling. This entrance to the Hollows can only be reached from the Hollows side.

(3) Sack - This contains a healing potion.

(4) Here there are the following:

Fine Iron Longsword
Sack - This contains a healing potion.

(5) Sack - This contains Gold, and is in the cave reached from the Under-Chorrol Hollows.

(6) Chest - This is tucked away in an archway in the tower ruins and may contain a magic skill book, Gold, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, a magic weapon, magic jewellery, potions, a spell scroll, a staff and soul gems.

Under-Chorrol Hollows

The Under-Chorrol Hollows are explored during the quest Scream Like a Symphony.

There are 4 Cairn Bolete in the dungeon.

Under-Chorrol Hollows
(1) Levelled Undead - An undead creature at or below the player's level will be selected from the following list: a Skeleton at levels 1 to 3, a Zombie at levels 4 and 5, a Ghost at levels 6 and 7, a Skeleton Guardian at levels 8 and 9, a Headless Zombie at 10, an Ancient Ghost at 11 , a Skeleton Hero amd levels 12 and 13, a Faded Wraith at levels 14 and 15, a Dread Zombie at 16, a Skeleton Champion at 17, a Wraith at 18, a Nether Lich at levels 19 to 22 and a Gloom Wraith at 23 and above.

(2) Chest - This contains Gold and may contain an ingredient, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, a soul gem, a magic weapon, a potion and a spell scroll.

(3) Descent - This is a vertical descent that needs climbing down using planks and rocks.

(4) These are in the cave at the bottom of the descent at (3)

Sack - This contains a healing potion.
Dead Skeleton - This has two Lockpicks and a levelled item of loot.

(5) Coffin - Contains Gold and may contain clutter, jewellery, a Lockpick, armour, a weapon, arrows and a potion.

(6) Screamer - A levelled Zombie monster with the abilities of a Dread Zombie. Once killed, it has Mort Flesh and may have an item of loot.

(7) Here there are the following:

Dead Skeleton - This has two Lockpicks and a levelled item of loot.
Three Coffins - Each contains Gold and may contain clutter, jewellery, a Lockpick, armour, a weapon, arrows and a potion.
Three Coffins - Each may contain clutter.
Coffin - This contains Gold and may contain a combat skill book, clutter, jewellery, armour, magic armour, a weapon, magic jewellery, a staff, soul gems and spell scrolls.

(8) Ladder - This leads to the room that couldn't be reached in the Under-Chorrol Descent.

Betrayer Cave

The Betrayer Cave is explored during the quest An Eye for an Eye.

The entrance to Betrayer Cave is locked and requires a key obtained from Estirdalin.

There are 15 Cairn Bolete in the dungeon.

Betrayer Cave
(1) Levelled Creature - This could be a nuisance animal, a Dog, a Melee Bandit or a Bandit Archer.

(2) Chest - This contains Gold and may contain a Gold or Silver Nugget, a Lockpick, a Repair Hammer, arrows, a stealth potion and a spell scroll.

(3) Here there are the following containers:

Crate - May contain clutter.
Two Sacks - Each contains 0 to 4 items of food.

(4) Here there are the following containers:

Crate - May contain clutter.
Chest - This contains Gold and may contain a Gold or Silver Nugget, a Lockpick, a Repair Hammer, arrows, a stealth potion and a spell scroll.

(5) Here there are the following containers:

Crate - May contain clutter.
Chest - This contains Gold and may contain a Gold or Silver Nugget, a Lockpick, a Repair Hammer, arrows, a stealth potion and a spell scroll.

(6) Two Barrels - One Barrel contains 1 to 3 food items, the other Barrel contains 0 to 3 ingredients.

(7) Table - On the table are:

Breadloaf
Cheese Wedge
Two Cheap Wine

On the floor near the table are:

Two Cheap Wine

(8) Table - On the table are:

Betrayer Cave - Prison Breakthrough

Prison Breakthrough is explored during the quest An Eye for an Eye.

The Exit ladder leads to the outside. The outside trapdoor cannot be used to enter Prison Breakthrough and avoid Betrayer Cave, as it needs a key. There isn't a key for the trapdoor, but once used as an exit, Prison Breakthrough can be re-entered that way.

There are 2 Cairn Bolete and 2 Wisp Stalks in the dungeon.

(4) Here there are the following:

Chest - This contains Gold and may contain an ingredient, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, a soul gem, a magic weapon, a potion and a spell scroll.
Sack - This contains 0 to 2 items of food.

(5) Nelacar - Once killed he has the following levelled items: a Black Soul Gem, a Mace, an item of enchanted clothing, a health potion, a magicka potion, a poison potion, two spell scrolls and a staff.

(6) Chest - This may contain a magic skill book, Gold, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, a magic weapon, magic jewellery, potions, a spell scroll, a staff and soul gems.

(7) Here there are the following:
