Lost Ayleid Ruin Substructure

The Lost Ayleid Ruin Substructure is explored during the quest, The Elven Hero, and is reached from the Lost Ayleid Ruin.

Lost Ayleid Ruin Substructure
(1) Rocks - Fallen rocks block the passageway here.

(2) Floor Pad - Opens the Wall at (4).

(3) Floor Pad - Opens the Wall at (5).

(4) Wall - Opened by the Floor Pad (2) releasing the Skeleton behind it.

(5) Wall - Opened by the Floor Pad (3) releasing the Skeleton behind it.

(6) Skeleton

(7) Ayleid Chest - This contains 1 or 2 items of restorative loot. (a) has a levelled lock, (b) a Very Easy lock and (c) a Very Hard lock.

(8) Block - Opens the Walls at (10) when pressed.

(9) Block - Opens the Walls at (11) when pressed.

(10) Walls - Opened by Block at (8).

(11) Walls - Opened by Block at (9).

(12) Skeleton

(13) Ayleid Cask - This contains Gold and may contain ingredients, jewellery, Lockpicks, armour, weapons, arrows and potions.

(14) Skeleton (Archer)

(15) Ayleid Cask - This has an Average lock and contains Gold and may contain gems, jewellery, armour, magic armour, soul gems, magic weapons, arrows, magic jewellery, potions and spell scrolls.

(16) Ayleid Cask - This contains Gold and may contain ingredients, jewellery, Lockpicks, armour, weapons, arrows and potions. (a) has a Very Hard lock.

(19) Corridor - This passes over the corridors below.

(20) Blade Trap - When the first blade is reached, the trap activates. There are three blades in the trap, and these can all be avoided by timing it correctly. Failure can quickly result in death.

(21) Ayleid Zombie - This is similar to a Dread Zombie.

(22) Skeleton Guardian (Archer)

(23) Skeleton Champion

(24) Stairs - Currently flat, raised by the Block at (38) allowing access to the platform above.

(25) Gate - Locked and requires the key in (26).

(26) Varla Stone Cage - Lifted by the Block at (38). Underneath it is an Ayleid Coffer which contains the Key for (25) and Gold and may contain gems, ingredients, alchemical apparatus, soul gems, potions and spell scrolls.

(27) Welkynd Stone

(28) Tunnel - This runs under the floor and exits at the Gate at (29).

(29) Gate - This is at the end of the tunnel which starts at (28) and runs under the floor. It will lock after Lord Pratal appears and will then require Lord Pratal's Key which is in (36) and on Lord Pratal (35) to open.

(30) Fallen Adventurer - Each of these bodies has a Bonemeal, a health potion and a magicka potion with the chance of minor loot, a ring and a restorative item.

(31) Gate - Locked and requires Lord Pratal's Key which is in (36) and on Lord Pratal (35) to open.

(32) Ayleid Cask - Contains 3 Lockpicks.

(33) Activator - When this spot is passed, the Wall at (34) collapses and Lord Pratal (35) attacks.

(34) Wall - Collapses when (33) is passed, releasing Lord Pratal (35).

(35) Lord Pratal - A big, dangerous Minotaur. Lord Pratal has Lord Pratal's Key which is identical to the one in Pratal's Coffer (36) and opens the Gates at (29) and (31). Pratal also has a weapon, a Minotaur Horn and the chance of a loot item.

(36) Pratal's Coffer - This has a Very Hard lock and contains the Ayleid Cleansing Shrine, Lord Pratal's Key which opens the Gates at (29) and (31), magic jewellery, magic weapon, spell scrolls and soul gems and may contain a magic skill book, Gold, ingredients, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, potions and a staff.

(37) Balcony - The Balcony that runs between these two points cannot be accessed from the room below, but must be reached from Lord Pratal's lair.

(38) Block - When pushed, this raises the Stairs at (24) and the Varla Stone Cage at (26).

(39) Ayleid Reliquary - This contains Gold and may contain a combat skill book, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, armour, magic armour magic weapons, weapons, magic jewellery, staff, soul gems and spell scrolls. The Balcony this is on cannot be reached from the room it overlooks.

(40) Ayleid Cask - This contains Gold and may contain ingredients, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, soul gems, magic weapons, potions and spell scrolls.

(41) Skeleton Guardian

(42) Ayleid Zealot - This body has Bonemeal with the chance of magic armour, magic arrows, magic jewellery, restorative items, soul gems, magic weapons and minor items.

(43) Varla Stone - When this is approached it activates the vents at (44). A telekinesis spell is recommended to get the Varla Stone.

(44) Vents - When the Varla Stone at (43) is approached closely enough to pick it up, gas emits from these vents which is very quickly fatal. (a) has (51) on top of the cage hanging above the vent.

(45) Ayleid Coffer - This may contain Gold, gems, ingredients, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, magic weapons, magic jewellery, potions, staff, soul gems and spell scrolls.

(46) Ayleid Reliquary - This has a Very Hard lock and contains Gold and may contain gems, ingredients, alchemical apparatus, soul gems, potions and spell scrolls.

(47) Floor Pad - Opens the Walls at (48) when stepped on.

(48) Walls - Opened by the Floor Pad at (47).

(49) Ayleid Reliquary - This can contain a magic skill book, Gold, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, magic armour, magic weapons, magic jewellery, potions, spell scrolls, staff and soul gems. The Balcony this is on cannot be reached from room it overlooks, but must be reached using the tunnels opened by the Floor Pad at (47).

(50) Corridor - To get to the entrance to the Lost Labyrinth, jump down from here. One you jump down, you will not be able to get back up, and will need to exit from the Lost Labyrinth.

(51) Ayleid Coffer - This contains Gold and may contain a combat skill book, jewellery, alchemical apparatus, armour, magic armour magic weapons, weapons, magic jewellery, staff, soul gems and spell scrolls. This is on top of the cage at (44a).
