Speak to the Count when it is time to start the attack. It is likely many of the soldiers will die during this battle, as there are a lot of Deadtree. When you approach the army, the Deadtree General approaches and talks to you before attacking. When he attacks, kill him.

Now help kill all the remaining Deadtree troops, then speak to the Count.

"The count commands me to haste into Wordham village and reinforce the garrison fighting in the street. I shall go at once and try to make contact with them and tell them that the bulk of the Count's army will arrive shortly."

Lord Scarley's Last Words from Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdGo to Wordham Village. There are a number of dead Wordham Guards and Deadtree Clan, as well as Sir Reynald and Leowina. Speak to her and she tells you the Sir Mordon is dead. Speak to the Count when he arrives and he gives you Lord Scarley's Last Words, which you should read. Apparently, Lord Scarley has left Scarleyshire to you.

"I have been awarded the lordship of Scarleyshire. It was Sir Mordon Scarley's Last wish that I be promoted to that state, and the Count had no second thoughts about it either. I can now go and inspect my new domain of Scarleyshire, introduce myself to my subjects, and return to the Count later."

Go inside Wordham Castle and speak to Zerrva, who knights you as Master of Scarleyshire and gives you Scarley Castle Key, which will open any locked door in the castle. This completes the quest and Zerrva tells you to go and see Councillor Berne in Scarley Castle, which will need doing before you can progress with the Main Quest.

After speaking to Councillor Berne in Scarley Castle and starting the quest Ruling Scarleyshire, return to Wordham Castle and speak to Count Zerrva.

"The Count tells me that the Countess has been kidnapped by Deadtree agents and is held hostage. The ransom they demand is the Dibella's Wrath sword, which tells volumes about the importance the Deadtree put in this artefact. The Count has given me the sword itself and told me to go to The City to resolve this situation. I should speak to the First Minister there who knows more."

The Count gives you Dibella's Wrath and you should now go to The City and find and speak to the First Councillor.

I should go look for them there and hope to the gods that the Countess is still alive. The First Minister has given me authority to do whatever it takes to bring the Countess out of there alive."

The Sewers Hidden Hall from Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdEnter the Rat-infested (local, tougher Rats than normal) Sewers through any of the entrances and make your way through them to Sewers Hidden Hall. In there are the Countess and two Deadtree Agents, the latter of whom immediately attack. After killing them, speak to Countess Crevana, who thanks you and takes Dibella's Wrath.

She has taken care of the Dibella's Wrath too and the artefact is now in safekeeping with her in Castle Mournrest. I can now return to Wordham and the Count."

Now return to the Count at Wordham Castle and speak to him. He is puzzled as to why the Countess took the sword. This completes the quest and Zerrva tells you to go see Leowina near the siege machines outside the castle.

Find Leowina and her brother near the siege weapons outside Wordham Castle and speak to her. She tells you that the three of you are going to attack Cleggdrom. When you are ready, tell her son, then make your way there with Leowina and her brother Reynald. Fortunately, neither of them can die. Outside the fort are two Deadtree Squadmen and a Deadtree Mage. Make your way through Fort Cleggdrom and Fort Cleggdrom Inner Chamber and enter Fort Cleggdrom Commander's Quarters, where you should kill the commander.

"We've done it. Cleared Fort Cleggdrom and the commander of the fort is dead. Leowina and her brother Reynald are now on their way back to the camp outside Wordham, and I should return to the Count to see what the latest developments are."

Now return to Count Zerrva at Wordham Castle.

Commander of the Army

At Wordham Castle speak to Count Zerrva. It appears that the Countess has disappeared, so the Count is going back to The City, and is putting you in charge of the army. Captain Renck will be your second in command.

"The Count has left Wordham to take care of business in the Capital. He has left the command of the army to me. This is a high honour and I hope I can live up to expectations. I should talk to Captain Renck, who is my second in command about our further warfare against the Deadtree."

Captain Renck from Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdNow speak to Renck who, after you speak to the Count, will be heading to the siege weapons outside. He is not exactly happy with you being in charge.

"Captain Renck, my second in command, doesn't like the fact that he got overlooked for the post as Army Commander. No matter, I still have confidence in him. He's of the old stock; honourable and a true gentleman, but with a fiery tongue. He tells me that the army is setting up at the siege machinery camp, but that I should probably travel back to Scarley to recruit more soldiers for the campaign from my own Shire as well."

GGuard Captain Algert from Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC Ltdo back to Scarleyshire and enter the castle, and speak to Guard Captain Algert.

"Algert has sent reinforcements from Scarley to the camp at Wordham. The army should now be as prepared as possible for the attack on the Deadtree. It should satisfy even my impolite friend Renck. Before I join the army, though, I need to speak to the First Minister at The City of Dibella's Watch. He has some important information for me."

Now head back to The City and find the First Minister. Speak to him and he tells you that when the Countess disappeared she took Dibella's Wrath with her.

"The First Minister has told me some disturbing news. The Countess has gone over to the enemy, taking the Dibella's Wrath with her. She may have been a Deadtree spy ever since she arrived on this island and married Count Zerrva. The Count has taken these news so hard that he has shut himself into his chambers. Time is short. The Deadtree will use the Wrath to make their leader ascend to the gods if we cannot stop it. If he succeeds, this continent will fall under his power and all the world will be in danger."

The Location of Dreadmoor Hills on Dibella's WatchCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC LtdReturn to Wordham and talk to Captain Renck. He marks Dreadmoor Hills on your map for you if you haven't already discovered it. When you are ready to proceed, tell him "March out!"

The Deadtree Troops Outside Dreadmoor HillsCredit: Antiscamp/Bethesda Softworks/eGDC Ltd"I now stand at the head of the army marching towards Dreadmoor and the Deadtree homelands. I expect heavy and stiff resistance, but we need to succeed to prevent the Deadtree from turning the entire world into a burning ruin like Shardville."

Renck and the others will follow you to Dreadmoor. As you approach you are attacked by three Deadtree Elite Guards, two Deadtree Squadmen, two Deadtree Clan Warriors and a Deadtree Squad Leader. Once they are all killed, the Town's Mayor is seen standing on the steps at the end of the village. He surrenders to you when you approach. Now speak to Renck again, and he tells you that the last thing that needs doing is going into Temple Dro-Zharrn, which is done in Into Temple Dro-Zharrn.
